1 1/2 month now the game is unable to working for Series x in Performance RT and Visual mode due to many graphics problems.
NO ONE from the company who create the game give one information refering the date that they fix that serious problem.
They collect our money , the people cry , they destroy the name of xbox all the people complain for that game ,in market place have 2.5 star rating …this is insane.
WHY and WHEN you fix the game mode Performance RT and Visual mode for series x?
Appreciate your post! We need to let them know they actually severely over-promised and under-delivered in car modeling and visuals! Shocked I’ve spent more than a hundred dollars on this game! Flat out bought a series x on the promos of the “new” Motorsport. “Built from the ground up” - buried immediately upon launch when compared to the trailers!

Does this issue still persist after recent updates? Would it be possible to provide a video of this in action?
Does this appear to happen for all cars or just some cars? If it’s just some cars can you give some model examples?
Yes @JetPartySalad.
These fundamental graphical/visual problems are the biggest dealbreaker for this game It is still happening on all cars. These issues are drastically noticeable when compared to FH5, FM7 and GT7. I personally refuse to play this game as a result.
I had no choice but to check the latest update for these issues in hope for this game to seriously improve in visual quality - and - they are all still here!
Wish we had the option to post a video here!
-
Dim and/or incorrect exterior taillights and headlights. No luminescence or glow that is necessary for these lights to work when racing at nighttime. The lights literally have no glow.
-
Lack of contrast and shader issues. The window frames, door sills, rubber seals etc on almost every car is grey and pale and not reminiscent of the IRL black color - Previous titles had no issues with these window frames and sill color/textures.
-
Materials are not properly depicted in FM.
All carbon fiber trims are matte regardless of whether the car has polished carbon fiber or dry carbon.
Paints like aluminium, brass, copper and the alloy rims on vehicles are very off. They are flat and lack the texture, reflection and luster of IRL materials. They are also flickering and noisy when looked at during stationary.
The glass surfaces do not absorb and reflect lights properly. They look like plexiglass.
The intercoolers and radiators look very strange. They had flat, low res textures and are very bright and glowing…
- No matter the paint option, the colors lack saturation, depth shine and reflection of IRL metallic and gloss paints. Lack of reflection and shadows along with the strange ORANGE-PEEL texture throw off any reminiscence and beauty of these cars/paints. Glossy unfinished textures on A-Pillars, headliners and sun visors in cockpit view still exist on most cars.
Areas like diffusers, intercoolers, air vents, chassis components like suspension arms, springs, engine cover etc and radiators that need to be darker due to shadows IRL when compared to the exterior of a vehicle - are BRIGHT. There are some critical shader issues in Visual and Performance RT mode.
There is a reason why FH5 models of these cars look better and significantly more detailed. .
- Models that were already outdated in FH5 and FM7 have look terrible and out of place when compared to recent vehicles.
Examples include the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Nissan Silvia models, Skyline models, Porsche Carrera GT, Toyota Apex Trueno, Audi R8 FSI, Ferrari 458 Italia, 2004 Porsche GT3, 2007 Porsche GT3 and more
(Note: The Porsche 718 GT4 RS added to the game has, once again, the wrong front bumper. PG recently fixed this so I do not understand the erroneous carryover)
- The car sounds are extremely echoing, muffled, droney and incorrect. They lack any resonance, depth or clarity.
I wonder if cars like the 718 GT4 RS & GT3 models, Shelby GT350 & GT500, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, 350z, Skylines and GT-Rs will ever sound at least good as in FH5. The GT350, 350z, 718 GT4 RS and SVJ sound fantastic in FH5.
Besides the AI behaviour and nonexistent singe player content, this above issue is one of my biggest grapes with this Forza.
It looks absolutely terrible for a game released in 2023.

We appreciate you opening this topic and sharing feedback. For us to be able to more effectively address your concerns, we ask that you open up threads for single specific issues, and try to avoid “grouping” several issues into one. This way, we’ll be able to better understand and convey a particular issue to our product team, and open and track bugs internally to monitor progress towards resolution. As a result, we will close this thread, but please open individual topics on issues you notice with the game. Thank you!
