It seems that people have chosen Wilds Takeover for the next series so here we go. Wilds was originally in Series 18 which was prior to Rally Adventures expansion being released so I don’t know what will be there when the game updates
The shop and seasonal reward cars may change and I expect the event labs to change so take those screenshots as they are in this post
The Hoonigan related accolades may or may not return so possibly an opportunity for people to complete outstanding challenges
I expect that max will post an official update in the couple of days to confirm what we will be getting but until then, this is what I have

Thank you.
I wish the rewards for SC and Forzathon.shop will not change, so I can acquire the Focus and 2 Extreme Es.

the shop prices might change and the 40 point reward will be a backstage pass but the 20 point car may change because that’s what happened last series. The champs should be the same as before
I’ll try and do the rest of the cars tomorrow but honestly I did 3 yesterday morning and couldn’t be bothered, they’re so dull and there’s no build variety whatsoever without simply making the cars slower.
Evo 3 is the fastest if you use MC, I’m at #80 something in an Alfa TZ2 on Granjas and there’s 2 of those well ahead of me.
Nothing I end up with will be of any help or information beyond auto players this week, even standard manual has a sizeable advantage if the car is running stock engine or in the Subarus’ case the 330hp engine swap, the ideal shift points are way off maximum revs so you just spend a load of time out of the power band in auto, combine that with the negation of shift penalty in MC and there’s why certain cars like these always have a much higher potential in MC.

I appreciate the effort you put in for testing the options for the Trial but I hear you. I only got around to grabbing these screenshots this evening and I’ve not made any test runs for the stunts yet
The auto shift penalty on the Imprezza and Evo’s is horrendous
I will do some work on this tomorrow so I get a video out on Tuesday but I’m just feeling disengaged from the game at the moment and have been spending more time recently having a casual play with Forza Motorsport multiplayer events and doing other things

B Evo vs Impreza (Granjas De Tapalpa)
Evo 10 - 2:45.682
Impreza '04 - 2:46.834
Impreza '05 - 2:47.751
Impreza '08 - 2:47.860
Impreza 22B - 2:48.277
Evo 3 - 2:48.602
Evo 6 - 2:49.153
Evo 9 - 2:49.319
Evo 8 - 2:49.437
I made all my own tunes for this one given how likely + understandably most tunes are to be tailored to MC.
The Evo 10 is the only car that can be upgraded to have minimal shift penalty for very little PI cost so it also made it the only nice one to drive in auto, the rest having heavy ones can also interfere with your cornering as it’s better to stay in gear through a corner by coasting with them rather than dropping down and losing time on the shift back up, so part of your mind drifts towards that instead of just taking the corner naturally like a M/MC player is able to.
I could have tried the more modern Subarus but we all know how weird car eligibility can be with these kind of events so I stuck to the ones that have Impreza in their thumbnail name.
Probably just being a bit of a smart aleck here but I wonder if the Montero will be eligible? It does have Evolution in it’s name and shows as ‘Montero Evo’ in race standings/on leaderboards.

The Montero Evo would be an interesting addition to mix up the group a bit.
Assuming it’s based on the Evo vs Impreza Horizon Specials group, without class filter:

MC does make a huge, huge, huge difference with this choice of cars. And after trying one of them, it seems like some weirder builds may be ideal. I just tried the Evo 9 and tied that 2:43.630 Alfa time of yours (weird coincidence again) with my first swing at a tune, in a couple of less than perfect runs. It may challenge that top Evo III time, I clearly messed up pretty badly in a couple of places … I’ll probably work on that target a little bit.
MC, power and top end seems to be the way to go to get the most out of these. I went with drag tires, V8 with sport centrifugal supercharger, no weight reduction and a rear spoiler delete. Its biggest problem is braking when using no ABS. It takes finesse to keep it from locking up and being consistsnt in braking zones. And theres a fine line between keeping it from understeering and getting an unintentional drift when you least want it too. I dont have the tire pressure and ARBs right yet.
I’ll focus on this one to check other builds before I move on.
I think Ill share this tune when I get it nailed down, too. It’ll probably be a good trial week for MC users in the right builds if drags really are the way to go. Its always good to get out in front of the chaos early.

I got that Evo 9 to 2:42.629.
I’m still about 0.7 seconds behind the top Evo 3 and I dont think can knock off that much time, so Im going to settle. I did share the tune though. I tested in heavy rain as well so its ready for any weather. SC:

Drove the Evo III, set the best time for the trial car restriction on board with a 2:41.879 by 0.116 seconds. #45.
The build on this one was a lot different than the Evo 9 build. Drag tires cost more PI than stock tires, which is different than in some/all of the other car choices, so I went with stocks. Stayed with the stock spoiler, and stayed with the stock engine. I liked that the stock look was effective in this car, as I dont like the look of Evos and WRXs with no spoiler. Used the sport weight reduction so I didnt go all out toward a power build. I noticed the next best Evo III time was using race weight reduction. That was an excellent driver and their first and last turns were about as good as can be done, but more power seemed to suit these fast street races better. I left a little time out there. I didnt check to see if no weight reduction would be even better, but the build I used was pretty good … #45 after all. I shared the tune if anyones interested. MC needed to get the most out of it. Driving the Evo III against a really good driver’s time revealed that theres advantages to going offroad more than I was doing in the Evo 9. That first right hander before the traffic circle needs to be finished on the road though … I think. I made up time on that good ghost while they were finishing through the grass. Speed out of the turn seemed more important than maximizing speed in the turn. Knowing all that, I may go back to that Evo 9 to see if I can knock off a second … but I need a break from Granjas.
