This is what I have for the upcoming Series 42 Summer Season
There are not a lot of details here but these are my initial thoughts which may or may not be correct.
The Trial: āStreet Safariā - B/A Class - Holden/HSV?
PR Stunts: S2 (Possibly X Class) Class - Extreme Track Toys
Seasonal Championship: āCome Rain of Shineā - A Class - Unlimited Offroad
Seasonal Championship: āSuper Mareā - S1 Class - Modern Super cars / Ferarri
RA
Speed Trap: āCascada Fuerteā - S2 Class - Hypercars
Seasonal Championship: āApex Evolutionā - S1 Class - Rally Monsters
HW
Speed Trap: āForest Edgeā - S2 Class (Possibly X Class) - Extreme Track Toys
Seasonal Championship: āIcebreakerā - B/A? Class? - ??
Iāve added a closeup of the HW champ thumbnail because I canāt make out the cars
B class Subaru maybe. To me looks like a 22B furthest back and then a late model WRX.
I see the Sandman and El Camino in the Trial thumbnail but canāt make out the 3rd car.
Both start out in C class Vans & Utilities and the track has to be Jungle Descent.
The third looks like the V8 ford lightning.
I agree and it also starts out in C class.
Looking at the rest of the Vans & Utilities and all but 2 start out in C class or below.
The Ute starts out in B class and Maloo starts in A class.
Possibly the final āproperā week, certainly the only one of this series.
Wonāt make any predictions but in Rivals I have 52 different cars on the boards over the 56 Road/Street courses in C class, the El Camino, Vandura and Sandman are the only 3 I have from Vans and Utility, the DoKa could be a contender though.
I wouldnāt bother trying the Syclone or Typhoon if youāre an auto player, heavy shift penalty and the cars eat up a big chunk of PI to address it, without race transmission youāre going to have between 0.18 and 0.25 seconds shift penalty if youāre not a MC player, huge.
If you do drive MC theyāll be strong options, both can do 6.2L V8 swap builds on stock tires, the Typhoon can even stay no aero.
Good yardstick for the rest of the cars tomorrowā¦
As a bonus I havenāt lost one of my 52 cars either, the Hemi Cuda this replaced is now on Canon Runās board where my El Camino originally was so theyāve just basically swapped courses.
God bless you! Thanks!

All on stock tires unless noted.
Iāll share my El Camino on Thursday.
We Need to Choose cars from this series
Yeah I think this really is the end everyone after looking up the Trials for this series in a YT video.
Every single one is a re-hash of ones weāve had in the past, right down to their names.
So we donāt need to faff about each week with the restriction and course, thereās little reason why the 2nd/3rd races would be different either so apart from the first one I looked through the season thread for the weeks these Trials first happenedā¦
C Vans and Utility - Jungle Descent (this was before I started testing and screenshotting became a thing amongst a few of us and no other courses were mentioned by anyone).
B Corvettes - AOM Circuit, BahĆa De Plano Circuit, 3rd race unknown.
B Ford Ute - MulegƩ Town Scramble, Cordillera Trail (no test or screenshots here either but these 2 are mentioned in a comment I made), 3rd race unknown.
B BRZ vs 86 - Wetland Charge, Las Afueras, Cruce Del Valle.
If anyone wants to look for themselves look up Street Safari, Corvetting The Competition, Ute The Best and Seeing Double in the forum search.
Iām hoping this is just because itās the January update. I think the last couple Jan updates have been lite on new content and cars.
On the other hand, donāt see how FH5 can keep the community engaged into 2026 so surely 2025 is the year for FH6 Germany edition.
Germany? I thought they were going for a sensible country that drives on the correct side of the road!
Germany seems to be the popular speculation at the moment.
An autobahn highway system could be cool but Iām ambivalent about any location. Just give me some cool roads and race routes.
Maybe they ran out of puns and Karl Pilkington was too expensive to hire ⦠or couldnt be bothered.
Apparently I procrastinated too long finishing cars. I just recently got semi serious about it and I still have hundreds left. I will say that this is the first time Im going to get to a FH endgame, so I guess this may be my favorite FH. I usually leave when Im overwhelmed with beefs, and while FH5 is far from perfect, I have more suggestions than beefs this time. I got so frustrated with FH4 that I almost didnt buy this one. FH5 is the first I didnt buy at launch ⦠I started about 8 months late. Iāll be starting FH6 on day one.
The Come Rain or Shine championship is a repeat from all the way back in series 3 and it was as expected, A800 Unlimited Offroad.
Couldnāt find the Super Mare championship in any of the previous series.
The PR Stunts are also a rehash from Series 33ās spring, seeing as this weekās have created so much hard work for some people (somehow ) I ran a rubbish Extreme Track Toy on the upcoming ones, using the electric Supervan at 960PI.
Northern Passage - 232.01mph (target 225)
Escarpment - 190.91mph (target 187)
Camino Del Cielo - 145.52mph (target 142)
Stock wise the Ultimaās the best choice if you donāt want to change cars and the Divo is the second best due to the zone, it can do the 142 but itās not great, will be easier to control for most people than the Ultima Iād guess though.
Northern Passage is the stumbling block for everything else that starts at a higher PI than them, the Czinger + Sesto FE can just about do the 225 but not worth the hassle, they need a huge run-up and absolute smoothness on the approach, none of the others I looked at could even do 225 full stop.
I think the AWD Mosler MT900S can do that.
Thank you for the testing and everything. It is always a great help
Edit: I recorded some runs and came up with
Northern - 232 MPH (Mosler)
Escarpment - 193 MPH (Mosler)
Camino - 145 MPH (Sesto FE) - quite difficult
Cascada Fuerte - 119 MPH (New PB) (Mosler)
Forest Edge - 283 MPH (Mosler)
Iāve had a look at my runs from previous challenges and this is what I have obtained before. I have not recorded anything for this week yet but expect similar results

Working on the basis that the expansions are as before, these are my older videos for those
Hot Wheels - Forest Edge - Mosler - 278 MPH video but 283 MPH on new run
RA - Cascada Fuertre - Mosler - 116.8 MPH Video but 119 MPH on new run
