Series 45 Playlist Preview - Autumn Season Screenshots

These are the screenshots for Series 45 Autumn which was originally run during Series 18. Rally Adventures was not available during the original run and has been substituted with events from Series 33.

I do not have the detailed screenshots for Series 33 events but do have the targets and restrictions.

The seasonal rewards have changed. Autumn1 is the upcoming rewards and the EventLabs might change but everything else is likely to stay the same.

Frikkin’ YAY!!! I went with the same idea of following suit for the RALLY expansion coming from S33 Not often I get it right, possibly :joy: :+1:

I hope the Extreme E will be still there.

Given there’s only 1 option I’ll try and give what little info I can here.

Chihuahua’s the 2nd course but somehow it seems a lot of us ended up going there instead of Lookout the last time, I’ve managed to improve my time by quite a substantial amount with my own tune here, I’ll share that on Wednesday but Zip’s was/still is excellent and is already available…

As you’ll see this gathered plenty of traction last time…

I’ve never forgotten this Trial because of the season thread that week it was last here, where a former forum regular showed himself up for what he really was, always going berserk at me for calling ugrundy’s tunes and acting like he knew what he was talking about, only for him to somehow do a quicker lap around Chihuahua with ugrundy’s stock tires tune than TonyKartRcr’s slicks one, if you know a jot about the game you know only either a truly clueless or unbelievably disingenuous player could possibly do that.

He also ‘forgot’ to try Zip’s, funny that eh…

Anyway I also gave Lookout a brief try, don’t want to lose my existing time on there so I was rewinding on the final straight…

1:05.858 would put it around #230 on there, a more powerful build would be better for the start + 1st half of Lookout but overall I think the slicks build is the best balance, just have to be mindful of people using tunes like the one referenced further up which many very likely will, the top 7 most popular D class tunes for the Mini are all on stock tires.

Back to the rat dog circuit … ugh. Im about Chihuahua’d out.

I dont remember this trial but apparently I did it because its gold. I didnt have a D500 Coop in my garage either … Im thinking I may have gone stock. And … lol … I really dont remember that weekly thread. Im thinking I was just late to the party. But I can now concur that stock tires on Chihuahua just doesnt seem to be the way to go.

I started from scratch, tried to max handling out of 77 hp. I realized that that’s just not enough hp on the first flying lap, because it was just pedal to the metal through everything but the hairpin, no matter the line. 1:05.8 but just too far from the edge to settle for that build even if I didnt know better times were possible.

Next build I tried was with 79 hp, and that got me into the 1:04 club … low 1:04.9s. This build required pumping the gas pedal through the first corner, but even this one seemed a bit far from the edge. Im going to start messing with lookout, but I may come back and try to see what a little more power looks like.

But what I will not be trying is stock tires at Chihuahua. I driven too many laps there lately to waste time on stuff that doesnt make sense. Yeah, 79 hp doesnt sound like a lot, but slicks make the lap two long full power burns. If you have to be slowing down much for turns other than the hairpin, you get some of the shortest straights in the game and are going to be off the gas pedal for most of the lap.

I did a 1:06.133 for #298 overall on a stock tires build yesterday, but I agree with you that it’s not the best balance, especially when factoring in Chihuahua. I gave up chasing my jeep time there. however since it’s the trial, I like the launch to get out ahead on lookout, which is more likely to have quick drivatars

here’s the lap, I should be able to improve the tune a bit and will share wednesday night:

edit: improved by .067 on a cleaner run, that’s gonna do it for me

I did some semi intensive testing of different tires in D class Minis today.

So far on slicks, I used an 80 hp build to do 1:04.715 at Chihuahua and 1:05.332 at Lookout. And I have an 82 hp slicks build that I havent tried yet. (Edit: the 80 hp build is better than my 82 hp build.)

I tried rallies and did 1:06.4 and 1:06.0. I didnt like rallies because the kind of Lookout laps they did were similar in character to slicks. They only got a couple of car lengths lead on my slicks ghost, only to lose a lot at the end. I dont see the point since they are slower and still fall so far behind power builds at Lookout.

But as far as power builds go, vintage white walls are the way to go over stocks. The old leading Mini at Lookout was on white walls and did a 1:05.409. I put together a white walls build and did 1:07.2 or something at Chihuahua, and a 1:.05.5 at Lookout. Id probably break that 1:05.332 on white walls if I bothered to perfect the build and tune on it. And the thing with white walls is that the character of the Lookout laps is like on stocks … big lead over slicks in the first half, like stocks, but much better than stocks in the second half. And they are seconds faster at Chihuahua than stocks. (Edit: Did 1:05.165 at Lookout on vintage white walls.)

Depending how you want to do the trial, Id suggest either slicks or vinatge white walls.
