I’m also having problems with the new playlist. I’ve just completed one of the EventLab’s and I haven’t received any points for it, but I’ve received the car for winning the championship
There’s some information and a link to the bug report in the main thread I posted above. It looks fairly widespread.
Everything is broken for me.
Completed both The Trial (twice) and the first eventlab Windy City event, both not shown as completed lol.
Oh well, no backstage pass this week it seems :X.
Ya, similar experience. We’ll have to wait to see what they’re able to do. They’ve been reasonable with their attempts to make up for things in the past.
The opened ticket on the MISSING POINTS was marked Solved??? that’s such a typical cop out! This game is 4yrs old and all the dev team is doing is regurgitating old content. Why is this not fixed yet? GAME IS UNPLAYABLE!!! MS could have fixed this Thursday AM, but NO, they’re dragging their feet, then left for the weekend and left their customers TWISTING in the WIND, and STILL NO FIX SUNDAY! LAME LAME MS!!!
Didnt bother with the trial until today, but, yeah this wouldve been a fun week as a MC player. I built some VWs in the past couple weeks that seem to fit Cooper Canyon just right. Tried the 03 Golf in trial first, then the 11 Scirocco. The Golf seemed quicker in trial, so I took the Scirocco to rivals first. 3:01.999. Heres where it shook out …
There indeed should be a huge advantage with MC. Seemed best hitting the rev limiter, no clutch upgrade. I shared it.
I think the best 03 Golf time is a 3:01.7 by someone in a club that is all over the top of the monthly rivals leaderboard … well, not counting that 2:33. 
I think I’ll try to better that. Then maybe do the 07 Civic. A good week messed up by the playlist bug … sigh

To finish up a week thats already finished and I think most of us would like to forget, I worked on the 03 VW Golf at Copper Canyon Sprint.
It took stock tires even though every number would suggest drags, and it took a lot of tweaking of tire pressures. Those Na’1 club members are good. I think a completely perfect run with the tune might be 3:01.4-ish, and I cant image the 03 Golf getting 3:00s. Tune shared. The 11 Scirocco has more power, even with the 03 Golf on drags, and the 03 Golf handles slightly better. This was kind of an unnecessary grind.

At least you passed the guy 3 places behind you, who I once landed in a Trial with and they proceeded to drive straight into the back of me before the 1st corner of Linea Costera, where the track is so wide that a cruise ship could go around someone, then when I accidentally and very slightly grazed him while passing in the golf club section he had the nerve to do a smart aleck ‘nice driving’ quickchat phrase.
Had some choice words for him afterwards and only realised months later how good of a player they actually are when I saw their name on a leaderboard 
Considering I was in a very weak car in that Trial (him in I think a 911 GT2 RS vs me in a Mission R which is awful on any power course) and their obvious ability I guess it actually made it more ridiculous though.

Lol. Last week I had a semi-similar situation with the “nice driving” text at Horizin Mexico Circuit. Got cornerbombed two turns in a row, then after an ever so slight door to door bump letting them know, I got a “nice driving”. Within a second I turned left and made him one with a tire barrier. Im not sure but I think we dont have a voice chat function for everyone because they dont want the game to be toxic … but those “nice driving” texts from someone who either just ran into you, or recently ran into you, sometimes set me off more than any conversation could.
Ive had disappointing driving encounters with some leaderboard people too. A little bumping I can understand, sometimes. But Ive had fast people drive as dirty as anyone.

Imo, the best function of “Forza-Link”: you can disable it.
