CONTENT UPDATE / RELEASE NOTES

The content update for Series 21 will release prior to the Summer season switchover; a specific day and time isn’t usually announced, but the typical release time would Tuesday the 7th or Wednesday the 8th. Release Notes are published at the Forza Support site:

CROSS-PLATFORM FIXES
Extended the time information is visible in The Eliminator’s elimination feed
Fixed an issue where the VIP Reward pop-up would be displayed for some users every time the game is started
Fixed an issue where the engine audio of the Napier Railton was much louder in 4th gear
Removed unnecssary lights on the dashboard of 2015 Volvo V60 Polestar in cockpit cam
Fixed the visibly bouncing Car hood on the 2005 Honda NSX-R when in hood cam
Fixed the visibly bouncing Car hood on the 1995 Ferrari F50 when in cockpit cam
Fixed an issue with the “Performante” logo disappearing from the door of the 2018 Lamborghini
Huracán Performante when opening them of viewing the car in explode mode
Fixed an issue where the air vent from an aftermarker hood would float in explode mode when viewing the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500

To do away with any sort of suspense, that is Formula Drift racer Matt Field’s 1000hp C6 Corvette. So, that’s likely the answer to the 1000-related clue.

Edit: Didn’t see it was already confirmed in the Torben Tuesday thread, so consider this a moot point. Oh well.

I remember hearing the possibility of an auto-generated driving line for custom-made tracks. I hope that is in this update, if it’s not in already and I wasn’t aware. I’m getting the itch to test drive a bunch of cars around a custom track, and it’s a little hard for me to find the ideal line in an S2-class car when it was made with a B-class car.

Of course, this could mean no Shelby 1000 for me but the corvette is VERY nice as well.

Take some pics at the start of a race each championship and that’s an easy 5 (or more) cars.
I went through most of the carlist in FH3 in only a couple days blueprinting races with all different car groups.

Apparently, it didn’t take too long for people to earn the Eliminator prizes. A weekend was enough. What else can we do to milk that extra bit of gameplay? Hmmm…

I know people who say FH4 was made as a photography simulator, because bugs in racing aren’t fixed. I guess it’s the update’s target.

Not gonna work this time. Modern Muscle and Vans & Utility give you a Ford spec series.

It’s a nice idea regardless.

That’s how I’m planning on tackling it too. You’ll probably get a lot of cars naturally going through the Playlist events since they utilize a lot of different classes and vehicle types.

Nice selection of cars and for Horizon Promo … guess I’ll be taking pics of all of my cars then. Few quiet night shifts should do it :slight_smile:
