Finally a Zenvo that, well, doesn’t suck. I like the ST1 but, seriously, it weighs almost 2 tons! For a car among the fastest in the world to do no better than S1900 is a complete failure.
That, and cars that handle great 1:1 are utter junk stock, ie 95 MR2. Great car, but stuff shouldn’t need tune to be driveable. Class bumps, rivals challengers sure, but for average player that doesn’t have millions and millions they should be decent. Trial complaints would drop if that was case, and competition would be greater. Pista another that was huge disappointment.
Sigh.
That Zenvo TSR-S weighs just 1,495 kg dry and is powered by twin supercharged 5.8 litre flat plane crank V8 with 1,177 bhp.
0-62 mph in just 2.8 Seconds, 0-124 mph in 6.8 seconds & will go on to the electronically limited top speed of 202 mph.
Those numbers are mind-blowing.
New Feature: Photo Challenge. This feature challenges you to take a picture of a specific car at a specific location. This challenge is included in the seasonal Festival Playlist completion %.
Great to see they animated the wing of the TSR-S somewhat accurately. Let’s hope the car itself isn’t trash like the ST1 and that the stock wing is adjustable.
Would be a total waste if you had to install a bog-standard Forza wing because it’s better than the original - which wouldn’t make any sense.
Now, according to the information released in the stream, there are 939 cars in the FH4 dev build.
Of course, this data would include many vehicles that are not available to us. For example, the Austin FX4 HS and Owen’s P1, and the buses and trucks in traffic cars.
Not all of these cars will be added to the game, but we still get a lot of them It seems to be able to It looks like we can expect future updates.
Yeah, I saw the 939 number myself. I wouldn’t expect much, if I where you. I could see another two updates with cars but who knows. Their reluctance to increase the garage space (for various reasons already discussed) has me thinking that not much more cars are coming.
I remember someone telling me they were making this game for the “cruisers” and “photographers” instead of racers (but the guy used a word that in my language is a slightly negative slang towards cruisers). Photo Challenges on the Playlist fit the bill.
Appreciate the easy requirement (heck, couldn’t have asked for anything easier) but, like the Horizon Promo, which no one cared about, I suspect we’ll see lots of badly-taken photos of LM002s (cheapest Lambo IIRC) instead of this wonderful community effort that we love to see because people love our game and EVERYTHING IS AWESOOOOOOOOOME!
(I’ll still try to take a decent photo but, unlike Playground, I know my community)
I think when the promo first came out I posted that we should go to a location, and take a photo of a specific car. I think it is just better than the current promo.
Is it just me who disappointed with the #5 Ford Escort mk2? I was expecting a Gr5 Ford Escort Mk2 Zakspeed. It would be a really nice addition to the game as the Regular Ford Escort Mk2 can modified like a rally car already.
Love the selection of the reward cars. But I hope we’ll be getting some more 2000’s cars in future series, now after we’ve got a batch of retros recently.
Great selection of new cars, for sure but still no answer or update on this “too many saves” issue that some people are having.
I also still haven’t received an answer to my ticket about the very odd 175 custom route limit. A more even number of 200 tracks would make sense. 175 just doesn’t sound right but I guess we’re not getting any answers about limits, at this point of the games life span.
The photo challenge is a nice touch, though. Seems like a simple enough add-on that’ll increase photographers enjoyment somewhat. This assumes that they have the space for more photos, of course.
Release Notes have been published. Recent updates have released at/after 11:59pm Pacific on Tuesdays, so give it the full day before asking why the update isn’t available yet.
CROSS-PLATFORM FIXES
Fixed an issue with the Monthly Rivals event for series 23 not counting towards Festival Playlist progression
XBOX FIXES
Added in additional checks to reduce the likelihood of accidentally creating a new save game after cancelling a sync from connected storage.
Rivals is only 6% and while that’s great and will fix the 94% that everyone going for 100 currently has. Summer was ruined because of the daily challenges (89%). Will those be addressed as well or did the patch notes forget to mention that?
I think Chelsea’s car has a better default tune than Vaughn’s, doesn’t it? Felt easier to drift with.
I’m not opposed to the Escort. I mean, it’s the Mk2 Escort, what’s not to love? My issue with it is, there’s all this talk of “built, not bought” in Forza, but they keep giving us these “turn-key” cars instead of cars we can build. Pulsar from a couple updates ago didn’t even have a rally kit available. Sad!
The RX-7 is the only one missing from the game. Nice car, but I’m still waiting for the IROC-Z to complete the set of 1980s cars. And possibly the SVO… Man, that leaked list has some juicy iron, hopefully we get to see most of it, save for the TCR and BTCC cars and the 956, which are much more suited to Forza Motorsport.
Zenvo is win. FINALLY a good Zenvo. I like the old one, but it’s uncompetitive. More of a fun car, really.
