The Drag Run - this new mode provides a menu option for hoppers at each drag strip. Three races will run at a certain PI class and then switch to a new set. The Drag Strip tiers in My Horizon Life have been increased to 25, with two new Quickchat rewards:

CONTENT UPDATE / RELEASE NOTES
TBA. The Series 27 update was released on September 23rd.
Release notes are usually published at Forza Support.
The Drag Run mode - “Drag racing was the most popular online event in our previous series.” Drop in / drop out drag racing. Each drag strip location has an option that puts you in a hopper with a PI restriction with 3 back-to-back races, and then the PI restriction changes for the next set. The Drag racing section of My Horizon Life has new rewards.
Car Pass subset DLC:
The High Performance Car Pack and Icons Car Packs allow players who don’t own the whole Car Pass to purchase smaller groups of cars. These are already in the game and owned by players who have the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Add-Ons.
Coincidentally, I ran dozens of drag race events at the Horizon Festival last series. Not because of an inherent love of drag racing, but because I was attempting to capture lineups of cars of the various categories to satisfy the photo challenge. The drag race seemed like the quickest and most efficient means.
Congratulations on your second anniversary.
But to be clear, I’m disappointed in this update and this streaming.
If this was a monthly update I wouldn’t have cared for anything. But this is the second anniversary update.
A typical online game developer would have done a much better, bigger update as an anniversary update.
A body kit update that has been delayed for over a year, and a number of unused barns on the map.
I was hoping for a pleasing update like this kind of content.
But there are none of those, and the only new content outside of cars is drag racing multiplayer.
And the new cars, three of which are repurposed Toyotas and Lexuses from FH3, are also new.
Yes, I know it’s my fault for expecting too much from them. And I have to take into account that they have just pulled off the daunting task of expanding their garage.
But it’s a shame that an update on the anniversary of our second anniversary is no different than a monthly update.
Best thing I saw from scanning the stream was no 50% completion requirements on any season to win the new cars. All 4 are simple 3 race events, 1 each week.
Like 1 month after garage size up, more than a hundred players have already filled it with duplicates. Quite a conclusion for the efficiency of their “Fix” related to car duplicates.
Interesting to see the focus on Eliminator. 4 starts out of 11 about Eliminator, ZERO about online ranked or not. I guess it tells a lot about the priorities.
I will have a look at the Lexus RCF, it was a pretty good S1 on FH3 despite its weight.
I’m sorry. I don’t know what you mean by “fix” but I have many cars in different versions bought since the increased garage space. I don’t count those as duplicates because in my FH4 world they are different cars after added upgradings like bodykits.
The real fix for duplicates (if you don’t want them) was the option to immediately sell. And that one has still to be implemented on some situations.
So you stated it, the fix I was referring to the possibility to sell duplicates which they implemented for offline and not for online.
This situation of garage filled mostly comes from wheelspins. I never met anyone after 2K hours FH3/FH4 explaining he went to buy each car one by one from the auto show, never. All I met and discussed about garage, the issue was wheelspin filling garage.
Most games, you have a limited storage for things you collect, slots for weapons etc … why is it so different with Forza … it is because Forza is filling your storage on your behalf and not offering you any option to block it or clean the mess.
I have no doubt that the players having filled their 1000 slots are guys playing online and simply got their garage filled with duplicates. Despite the solution was ultimately simple and common sense, we still have this damned non sense.
We seem to be getting only old Toyotas and Lexus’ in the game; what about some of Toyota’s more recent stock like the Lexus GS F or the Lexus LC Hybrid??!! Too many old Toyotas imo!
After the garage space increase has there been any news in this stream about the increase of ucg? Cause I’m tired of deleting liveries to be able to choose or create new ones…
It speaks volumes about Playground’s priorities with this game when the data they show is Eliminator stats rather than pretty much anything else (Online Adventure for example).
Taking into account they haven’t updated the Eliminator in months, at this point, Playground is pretty much on autopilot, releasing whatever leftovers they have before T10 finishes the new ForzaTech engine for them to leech.
