Fact is, they used to have drivetrain restrictions in FH4, and removed it in this game. Custom Adventure Races in FH4 had restrictions for seasons, drivetrain, car class, and toggleable freeroam rush. Drift Adventure in FH4 also had drivetrain restrictions, but now they are completely gone, and it’s sad to see because it would be very simple for the developers to re-implement something similar, since it existed in the previous game.

I know I’m late on this but I agree completely but at the same time I have won with both AWD and RWD vehicles. Depending on the type of race, the track layout, and class of vehicles. There are RWD vehicles that can whoop AWD butt in some classes and vice versa. Trial and error. I know I may want to race a certain vehicle but no matter what build I have on the vehicle (RWD or AWD) or what settings I have on or off, maybe that vehicle you are wanting to run just isn’t meant for that race type or track. Trial and error. We’ve all had to do it, unless you cheat which most players do for some reason. Anyway, I do agree it would make the game more balanced and more competitive. and vote for this to be implemented in game. Just saying everyone who loses from time to time isn’t always because the vehicle that you lost against was AWD and you were driving RWD or vice versa. If you only run RWD vehicles then try a different vehicle. Sometimes the one to win isn’t the flashier, or more expensive vehicle. Sometimes the cheap guy you’ve never driven isnt the one you should check out!
In drifting, it’s mostly because they are awd. I have one of the grippiest drift tunes in the game, and lap almost everyone, but it still doesn’t outpoint AWD in drifting.
