Separate lobbies for Wheel-only and controller-only users

So why would you want to race against game pad players?
Was just in a few lobbies. Most people on console are on wheel these days. Here is your data lol

I don’t know if you know this, but the wheel icon left of their position shows they are currently on track. This is not an indicator for wheel users.

Oh wow, thanks for point out. Didn’t know. It would be good if we actually had that

I play this game precisely because of the great improvement and the more realistic simulation of steering wheel control. And I completely agree that there should be a separate lobby for people who use a steering wheel. Because the specifics of the control are different. And as mentioned in the topic, people like me who play with a steering wheel…want a pure race and not a fighting arcade of crashing cars :)…it’s a shame that the developer spent so much time and attention to improve the physics of steering wheel control so much, and at one point the player can’t enjoy it…and instead of a racing simulation they get a stupid arcade with crashing cars…Personally I wouldn’t buy another game from this series if this problem is not fixed in this game…

Most of my cleanest regular opponents are on pad.

The input method isn’t the reason certain drivers are more aggressive or less sportsmanlike than others, it’s the component sitting in the chair that’s the problem.

I think the better suggestion here would be two things:

1: Searchable Custom Lobbies

2: A filter in Custom Lobbies to limit entrants to pad/wheel/keyboard only.

I don’t think Featured Multiplayer should further segregate players more than it already does.

Agree. We can race privately w wheel or controller users simply by creating a private lobby. And in good faith trust that the people who joined are using the right hardware.
