selling the ULTIMATE (xbox only disc version) another account, VIP/CAR PASS, keep my progress

Hi,

I’ve got an option to sell my XBOX ONE only (it’s not Play Anywhere :frowning: ) Forza Horizon 3 game, the Ultimate one.

I like my steelbook version, but I’d prefer to switch to Play Anywhere version, a digital one quite soon, so I assume that:

  • I uninstall the FH3 from my console (I wouldn’t be able to run a game without a disc inside)
  • New owner can install the FH3, with all the priviledges of Ultimate, that is - he’s able to provide the same VIP & CAR PASS code that I’m providing with the game and he can assign it to his account without any problems

If I buy a digital copy of the game, with the Play anywhere, will my progress be maintained? If not, what shall I do to keep it?

If you’ve already redeemed the VIP and Car Pass codes that came with your game, that’s it. Might as well throw the cards away – they’re already tied to your account. Nothing will change this.

Your progress is saved in the cloud. You don’t need to do anything there.

No need to uninstall your copy of the game. Buying the digital copy will just activate the license key so you don’t need the disc anymore. It’s not like a separate game or anything.
