Nice catch, though I feel you’re reading a little too much into it as that’s where T10 will be holding a kickoff to the RC2018 Pre-season invitational, whatever that means.
In the most perfect of worlds, we’d get both this and NYC as an update – those jumps over the trolley tracks in GT’s Seattle Circuit were so, so good. I’d forgive T10 for a lot of their foibles if they were able to pull that off.
…of course, as you know all too well, KTVDS, that would mean a rather long drive for me through a corner of the virtual Loire Valley in a very slow car.
…and the fact this thread exists shows just how antsy the player base is for something in the way of an expansion, or even news that doesn’t revolve around the words “ForzaRC”,“Rivals”, “Mixer” or “Twitch”.
It has actual street markers on the tarmac and the buildings to either side don’t match anything currently in game. If you look closely, you’re coming off of a hillside making a left down onto the main straight. It looks like its just a heavily altered Yas Marina with the dubai straight away.
It’s just the Dubai Circuit with Seattle Photoshopped in the background. As someone who grew up in Seattle and now lives in Wichita, KS I would love a Seattle track, but it’s doubtful. Personally, I wish they would bring back Fujimi Kido, that would be amazing.
Too bad SIR doesn’t look anything like this picture and you can’t see Seattle from there either! Sadly, SIR is at best a third rate track. When I lived there I always thought the “International” part of the name was for the odd Canadian who might show up to race!
But why create game assets to create such a photo when a simple real photograph of somewhere in Seattle would have sufficed!? All in all, I would welcome a unique Seattle street circuit anytime! This was my original thinking also, but then I deferred to location logic - oh well!
