To me, Red Bull Ring, Fuji Speedway and New York could provide the best racing even though I don’t think they have the best layouts. Monaco I would skip like I skip Eaglerock with the kink but for the sake of those who voted for it, I hope it comes to the game.

For me, you’ve got to look at the potentional alternative (or historical) within the existing circuits

Imola - pre Senna’s death
Mexico City - remove baseball stadium
Interlagos - full version - goes around the outside of Curva de Sol
Portimao - up to 32 different options to pick from

Monza, COTA, Imola, Portimao, Motegi and Fuji are the tracks I want most here ^^

You need to go back ~20 years before Senna’s death for Imola to be the real free-flowing circuit it once was, by the time '94 rolled around you had the awkward Acque Minerali chicane and the stupid Bassa complex on to the start-finish line. It’s arguably a better track now (even with Tamburello and Villeneuve nerfed) than in '94.

I’d love to see pre-'90 Interlagos though, for that cauldron-like feel.

CotA over Portimao is an abomination.

Man, just bringing back the 11 on this list that were in previous FM games would be no slouch of a lineup. As with everyone else, I’m crossing my fingers for Interlagos one day, but completing the IMSA schedule and bringing back the missing Japan circuits would make me a happy camper. I was surprised that we didn’t see Sonoma return with NASCAR too.

If I were in charge, I’d add the top 7 voted tracks. Give the people what they want. But this is very unrealistic because, its easy to be an armchair game director. The truth is, if I were in charge, my incompetence would mark the imminent closure of Turn 10 Studios.

I mean, unless you were going to double and triple-down on the whole “built from the ground up” bit, I think you might be selling yourself a bit short there, Chief.

Thanks for the kind words but, game development and design is something I know nothing about.

My point stands.

I get why Monaco is low down there. It’s great for driving but racing isn’t viable, except maybe in low PI classes.

I think if more people had experienced Portimao, it would be way more popular. It is an amazing track.

It’s one of my favorites on RaceRoom.

Donington is the one I really want. It’s underrated and hardly ever appears in games. I want new tracks not the same few done to death real race tracks.

Donington would be great, throw in Snetterton/Thruxton/Oulton Park and you’d have a great BTCC-style circuit group for TCR series races to go with Brands Hatch and Silverstone.

Since it’s a motorsports game I’d have to research all the championships across the globe, from gt style cars, f1, nascar, drag racing, beginner autocross championships and have all those tracks in the game. Have them same championships in the featured multiplayer, career, single player races. This would be a baseline for future games about tracks and cars.
Then add favorite voted tracks to the game.
Some tracks have sound decibel limits, some don’t and boy…. would they be raw and uncut :smiling_imp::heart_eyes:

Sadly I never knew donnington park even existed until we bought dad a new tv and of course he has a channel with 24/7 autocross. So we both sat there and watched.

For me I would have to go with COTA, Fujimi, Donington, Sonoma, Long Beach, Interlagos and Monza. Plenty of past FM tracks redone and some great new to FM heavy hitters would be a good blend. I wonder what number of tracks T10 will stop at and if I had to guess im thinking the magic number will be 40 tracks. I know for a fact we will surpass FM7’s 32 and I also think they will sneak in another 360 era FM track before all is said in done. I think we will get at least 3-5 more new to FM tracks by early 2027.

Rather miss BTCC style racing. Proper bumper to bumper stuff. Some great tracks as you’ve mentioned as well, unfortunately outside the top wished for (they should be up there).
