Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn’t find it. I’m not always all that bright though…
Anyway, how do you save a video of an online race for the purpose of reporting someone? Also, is it really worth the trouble?
Normally, I would just block and report, but this guy was really out of hand. He went so far out of his way to ram into me about 7 times on one lap. I wouldn’t call him a wrecker, but he was the type that if you tried to pass him, he would intentionally take out your rear bumper every time. He did it to everyone that was in the lobby with us. The sad part is, he wiped me out 7 times in one lap, but I still kept catching him. Says a lot about his driving skill… I realize its probably too late to do anything about this guy, but I’d like to know for future reference.
voice command “xbox record that” if your kinnect is plugged in. i think it saves the last 30 seconds.
another way is to say “xbox snap game dvr” and select end clip now. it will give you options of saving up to the past 5 minuets. then go to upload studio to save andd edit the clip. if you dont save it to upload studio, a 1 gig download, there is a chance you’ll lose it.
That’s good to know, thanks. However, I have seen replays of entire races before and that is what is needed for someone like this. Its not like any one incident he caused was so bad, it was the quantity of them. 30 seconds just isn’t going to capture that.
You probably can… Like I said, I’m not always all that bright. I quit in the middle of the race because I got tired of being taken out constantly. So, does this option appear after the race is finished? I never look at the options, I always just hit continue and move on.
Because some of us literally haven’t played a video game since the Atari 2600 was new. When you’re trying to take in a tremendous amount of new stuff at once, sometimes things get missed. Even the most obvious of things…
Save the replay after the race, go into Forza TV and share it online with an easy to remember name and description, and PM Worm (or one of the other mods), or PM Snowowl. They will see it is seen by T10 staff.
That just makes my point all the more valid. If you’re missing a simple menu option - what else are you missing in this game?
I know, from your other posts, that you’re very ambitious and really working hard to improve. You’re always looking for tips to improve so, my tip to you is:
Don’t move through things so fast. Take some time to observe and explore. I bet you’ll find some things you didn’t know existed and they might just help you get to those top lap times you’re working towards!
