I was playing Forza motorsport 4 on my second Xbox one console, I played offline for a while and then came back to my main Xbox, I played Forza online and it asked me to choose which save file on the cloud I would like to play on, I chose the newest save file and when I started playing, all of my game progress was gone and it had seemed to go back in time to a few DLC’s ago. I contacted Microsoft and they lead me through some steps and none of them worked, these included power cycling the console and removing my account off of my console to see if I would get the sync prompt, I never did and as a last resort they informed me to create a post on the forums to see if the developer team could revert my game to my up to date progress. they informed me that I should mention that my save data which is the most up to date was last played on the 24th august 2019. that is when I would like my game progress to me reverted to. also, Microsoft informed me to make sure that my game saves are not corrupt.
I had a similar experience when I went to play last night. I had played earlier on the day on a different xbox and signed off from that one the same way I always do. When I logged into the other xbox it took me to the day prior losing the seasonal progress I made as well as finishing out 7 additional starts on Worlds Fastest Rentals. I thought I might be crazy but I had saved several tunes and took several pictures and those were actually there.
