Remove track cuts of less than 2s from affecting safety rating. This separates cheaters fro those that just pushed slightly too hard. If you are an honest hard driver, then the large track cut penalty you likely got is already enough. Ideally track limit offenses that lose time should not be penlaized. I know the game tracks this from data out and ACC and other sims all do this. No time gained, no penalty. Either way less than 2s penalties should not count towards safety. Obvious big cuts should be to discourage cheaters and ragers.
They should go back to the slowing your car down to like 15mph when course cutting.
100% agree.
In Assetto Corsa you’re allowed 3 cuts before you get disqualified. Implementing some kind of cut cap before a punishment follows, could make the ratings more stable/less frustrating.
Something like 3 cuts or less will only affect skill rating but not safety rating.
I would also like if the game treats different offenses as different things, eg. dangerous contact with other players should have a bigger safety rating impact than cutting the track.
We definitely need this asap!!!
