How do you tell the exact rpm for things when the tuning graph makes no sense? Yes Each section here is 1200 RPM but why cant the game just generate a custom graph based on the car so its quick and easy to understand?
It makes it harder to find EXACT numbers for setting up gear ratios when its done like this. Yes yes quick math solves all but after spending 5 hours tuning multiple cars with tunes for each season and even whether the road is wet or dry my brain is tired and i just want to glance quickly and know exactly what the RPM is for where im looking.
Number every line… it cant be that hard to write code that creates a graph. I can do it in excel in under 30 seconds.
How does that graph not make sense? It only reveals the value of 3 of the 11 vertical lines (0, 6, and 12). Each line is another 10% of the highest value (12) so the first one is 1.2. The second one is 2.4. I think you can figure out the rest…
It requires the use of arithmetic and is not as intuitive as it could be but it’s not like it’s displaying incorrect information.
I made the original post after tuning for hours on no sleep and i was pretty much out of it. My point is why cant they just generate the graph properly in the first place and go a step further and number each line so i can glance at it for 2 seconds and get all the information i need without having to do math? Im doing plenty of math already with my suspension numbers.
Also having to go into the upgrade area to grab information and then bounce back to the tuning area is a silly design choice as well. Everything we need should be right in the tuning menu, including tire size.
Im just asking for some easy to do quality of life improvements… the tuning menus havent changed since…ever! It would also be nice if there was a way to share tunes online, so if a user clicks a link it will send the tune to their game. I dont think the best tunes get the attention they deserve because finding them is a crapshoot and most people will do a search for their car and there will be 1 tune with a rating and all the rest have nothing.
