Doesn’t anyone else want this ? This is a modern racing game, and this should be an option as it has been in many many games for many years
It gives more immersion by feeling like a race broadcast, it grants accessibility to those who want to race in cockpit view and drive from the driver’s seat position of the car, but have issues seeing beyond the dash by giving greater peripheral vision
It would help many people and be very easy to implement as their aren’t any car modifications that affect the roofs of cars, so just orienting a camera position above the roof is easy win for the devs
