Roll cage getting wet inside car? (Apologies if posted before)

Really, I don’t consider this a problem or anything at all. Not even a little. I just happened to notice it just now and was wondering if anyone else had noticed it. As far as I know it may only happen to this one car, or on this one track, I just thought I would mention it in case anyone cared, or if it was even known, since it’s such a small imperfection.

Anyway, I just noticed that, while doing a race in career mode (exotic GT series) on the Nurburgring GP wet course, driving a 2005 Ford GT that I bought with the pre-tune/build available if you buy the car when you go to start the race series, the car’s tune comes with the roll cage.

The car (obviously, just being thorough in my description) is a fully enclosed cockpit, with the roll cage being inside supposedly out of the elements. Yet, during the entire race, you can see raindrops constantly landing on apparently the entire surface area of the roll cage. As much of it as I could see, anyway. As if it were completely open to the rain like it would be in an open top. It’s weird, lol. Caught me off guard when I first noticed it and caused a fantastic wet weather crash. XD

Anyway, it’s totally harmless, just thought I’d bring it up and see if anyone had noticed this, and if it happens with any car on any track, or if it is something unique to my situation. Cheers.

If I remember correctly the Corsa VXR has a similar issue, in that the rain drops land on the steering wheel and nowhere else

Really? Huh… that’s so weird. And for some reason, though I know nothing about game design, that seems like something that would be much, much harder to fix than it sounds like.

People just need to stop leaving their windows open

Iirc the 05’ GT doors have that weird T-top flap built onto the top of the doors. Maybe the wet roll cage was a realistic touch to show a worn out weather strip on the top of the door and it’s leaking inside the cab lol.
