Ooooo. Nice. Finally, the R8. Nice 365 Daytona as well. What’s the muscle car though? It looks familiar but I can’t place it. Wonder when the car pack is out though and if it’ll also be free.
The muscle/pony car is the Mach 1 Mustang. I glad to see the 365 Daytona back too. I guess this will be the next car pack.
Well, its out and unfortunately no they are not free. I think they should have been free to at least the VIP members that bought the LCE instead of just to people who bought the car pass. After spending nearly $700 (xbox one, Forza 5 LCE, and 2nd controller so I could play with my kids) just to play Forza, I wasn’t ready to spend another $60 on the car pass for a total of $140 for Forza 5. But I did buy the LeFerrari pack. I figured I’d take my time and buy the packs as I was ready even though I could’ve saved $10, well now $15. I think it’s great that the Road America track is free, and thank you Turn10, but not so much that it costs $5 for 5 cars that were clearly in the game before it was ever released. They were known to exist due to being in races as drivatars, in game photos, and being listed as options even before any car packs were announced. It was obvious they were not uniciorns as Turn10 had already stated there would be none in Forza 5. Most people speculated they were held back to be part of a super pass which was spotted but never came about, and thus they also did not purchase the Car Season Pass. I would have rather spent $5 for the track and the cars bundled together. Oh well…
I agree 100% that it was very poor taste on T10’s part to charge for cars that didn’t require much additional development.
Wait, what? Strangely, shortly after posting my last message I was playing the game and these cars were available for me to buy from the dealership. Without having to pay real money for a car pack though.
You must have bought the car pass they are free for people that bought the car pass. I already bought one of the car packs separately so buying the car pass to get these five free wouldn’t make much sense. I wait until the next car pack is released to decide what I buy next. But I’m going to buy this eventually its worth the $4.99 they are asking since I’m interested in four of the five cars in the pack the only one I’m not very interested in is the Mercedes Benz.
Oh, yeah. I had the car pass. I assume these are just a bonus with it then?
Thanks for the screens; slightly tempted by the Audi and Mercedes but the rest is just filler for me.
So I have the car pass and this is the only pack that is coming up with a price and not just an install button. If this means my car pass has reached a limit of some kind, why can’t I re purchase another car pass?
