First of all I would like to thank the turn 10 team for providing us with such an awesome game, I play it daily and enjoying every minute of it. But I’ve noticed in the last 4 car packs theirs been a real lack of American cars in the game, with only two more car packs remaining it’s a concern. On average there been only one American car per pack, I’ve counted (give or take) 68 American cars in the game compared to the 192 foreign cars (again give or take) available. Before you call me a redneck, I do have Ferrari’s and the Lexus lfa in my garage, but I would like to see more American sport and muscle cars include in the future. That’s my two cent worth.
I disagree its not American cars vs the world its euros Japanese Americans Italians and exoctics .
when you break up all of those cars up into those categories then you see the real figures and real lack of cars .
Im Australian theres way more of all of the above than Australian cars .
How much American muscles does the world want .
I would like to hear a VX8R Bathurst go around Bathurst, but the problem with the lack of Ausie cars in FM5 is easily chalked up to the fact that there aren’t very many Ausie cars at all.
Seriously though, that Bathurst Edition would be fantastic fun in FM5.
You would be surprised for every iconic US car there is an aussie iconic car that would be the same or better .
Holden toranna , xy xw GT falcon , XA falcon … well every model of falcon or commodore through the years had a iconic version .
You’ll just have to make do with the HSV and V8 Supercars. There’s plenty of Aussie cars, just depends how far back you go. IMO, FM5 is pretty US centric, more than enough “muscle cars”
To be fair…the US hardly has a great portfolio of great cars in the last 20-30 years. GM is mainly to blame for that but the same goes with the UK. The fact is continental Europe and the far east make more desirable cars, sporty and cult cars over that period.
27 European Manufacturers (Consisting of 11 UK, 5 Germany, 3 France, 7 Italy, 1 Swedish)
22 US Manufacturers
10 Far East Manufacturers (Consisting of Japan and Korea)
1 Australian
