I’m in deep competition with a friend on rivals D class Top Gear track. We keep going back and forth on the leader boards. Much texting of profanity between us.
I beat his lap time by over 0.3secs, I was ecstatic. Christmas, birthday, sexy time, all rolled into one. I was that happy. Swear words were sent. I was the king, baby.
But then I exited the track. It still said I had beaten my rival, but I was still in the same place on the leaderboard, behind my rival, and my old time was still there. I was crushed. I wanted to murder. Of course my ‘friend’ was over the moon. The banner across the top of the screen had said I beat him. It was a clean lap. It was a beautiful lap.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this just another thing wrong with this half baked version of my favourite racing game?
sounds like a glitch in the matrix…
seriously tho, the forza network was probably having an error or was down at the moment and so your lap time was not recorded. Sucks, but it does happen.

The first time it happened I thought I was mistaken. But this time there was no mistake. My anger, and my friends glee, can attest to that.
Things were simpler in the good old days of Forza 2. Now get off my lawn!
