Forza is making me rent either class car and use their “pre homo tune” without me being able to select my already homologated cars or tunes.
Anybody else?
For Rivals it doesn’t make sense if you can tune or modify cars. I’d at least like to be able to change tire pressures, but I get where they’re at on Rivals.
Yes this is normal most Rivals are done in Stock or Homogised Rentals there are a few where you can tune you car before the race but are not common. The Idea behind Rivals is that every one drives the same car with the same factory settings. So no one has an advantage with some secret setup or mod

Even for the rivals where you can tune, most of the top times end up being done with the same car and tune, so everyone is still driving the same car either way, and the same thing is more simply achieved by not permitting tuning in the first place.
But they have stock rivals for that same reason… Like past Forza’s, trying my best classed car up against freinds and others are a tougher challenge; trying to find that right car with that right tune to beat XY on track Z. I’m fine with homologated rivals but without using my own tune is it not kind of pointless? Using different cars kind of defeats the purpose of stock rivals does it not? If and when they release say Forza GT rivals, I wont be able to use my personally tuned GT4 that is among the top of the leaderboards, but rather make me use a homologated tune that is trash. Just my opinion, but we all know Turn 10 has a hard time giving us what we want/need over their trash car packs.
The “royal we” again meaning what you want…The car packs aren’t trash, they give access to ALL the cars in the game. Picking and choosing which cars should be in the car packs is totally irrelevant.

Using the car packs as an example… For one, there are cars nobody uses. None the less if turn 10 ever drops an offroad track, besides the Horizons, no point in adding trucks and offroad vehicles until then. I do race a few of the SUV’s but most of the population uses them to ram and cause chaos among hoppers… There are things we all want surely, to your “royal we” . Everybody I race with wants legit classed or homologated rivals. If I can do league races with my own tunes I should be able to do rivals as such. But yet Turn 10 cant even set a leaderboard for a classed car for its online hoppers. We can sit here all day playing the I want, he want, she want game. But the forums are here for a reason… Feedback feedback feedback
YOU, not nobody.
There’s 700 cars in the game, the majority can be bought or earned during normal game play, some from Forzathons, others from the specialty dealerships and playing online/leagues. the rest come from car packs. Nobody (aka me) is special enough to dictate which cars can be obtained from which game mode.

When was the last time YOU saw somebody racing the Citroen or the small old Subaru or the Safari for the recent packs. They have been better than 5 and 6 for sure this time but Turn 10 can’t please everyone.
I know people who race the Citroen and love the Citroen. Just because you or your small group of people you race with have things you want in the game … don’t assume that all the millions of people playing always want exactly what you want.

Turn10 implemented online hoppers by class after some people like you ( definitely not we!!! ) were demanding them. And why should they set leaderboards for online hopper lobbies? Another thing that is wanted by you and not by US. Isn’t it enough to have the after race standings? Be assured, T10 for sure can set leaderboards the way YOU want them (I am happy to see them gone and to have the homologation lbs) but they don’t want to.
Regarding the car packs, for YOU they are trash, for me they are not perfect but far away from being not acceptable.

I was actually fine with the homologated hoppers. Granted they needed to add more, I wasn’t requesting classed hoppers like others were demanding. Do I race in them, sure, only because they dont have the divisional hoppers I want. Would I like a leaderboard to support the hoppers, yes. Again, on this thread I am the only one wanting “these” things, but of the 75-100 people I race with we all want common things. We all test each other and run legitimate realword series, like IMSA’s WeatherTech, Continental, Porsche, GT4 and Pirelli series within Forza. 7 interfered with all those plans too but lets not get into that. Anyway, rivals was a way to see who was better without the need for everybody racing at once. But whatever, you a “elitist” are entitle to your own opinion as am I so carry on
Came here for a discussion about the rivals division, didn’t expect it would turn into a discussion about the car packs.
I’m dissapointed now.
And that’s not because of the car packs.
