….back from vacation….what’d I miss? Actually, I kid. I kept track from time to time (pun intended).
As an idea/suggestion, i always thought an independent manufacturer battle would be interesting (Ascari vs noble vs Saleen vs Zenvo etc…). Might be some too-strong options but an idea nonetheless.
I got so behind on stuff. I never got it “dialed in”. That said, I’m really on the fence with that car. I like the power and the top end. Everything se
I see, it’s one of those usernames where he has a 0 rather than an O. Share code is 139 041 555.
I’ve gone a bit quicker than Zip using the F355. Not sure what tune I have on it unfortunately but looks like there are quite a few shared which might work. Still need to try the Diablo and Viper.
Granjas event remains open until Wednesday evening.
New event:
Track: Palm Forest (Rally Adventure)
Class: S1
Car choice: Nissan R390, Zonda C, 458S, Veneno, Schuppen or Ford Focus 17
A few more choices this time and a mix of hypercars, supercars and a hot hatch. They are all within 10 places or so of each other on my Copper Canyon list but I don’t know how that will translate to the twists and turns of Rally Adventure.
General Rivals question: so I typically find various events in different classes that I haven’t run times in & will run the event against whatever random player the system identifies which is not in my friends list. Once I set a time, I will then often run against my own time to try to improve & just for the practice.
It is my understanding that the system will send out Rivals notifications to others in my friend list, even though I haven’t targeted their ghost to run against. Is there a way to stop this from happening short of removing players from my friends list? I only ask bc I really don’t want my Rivals notifications clogging the inboxes of others on my friends list, as I know that can be pretty annoying, just from me trying to improve my own times. I looked in settings but only saw a general line for “Notifications”, not specific to Rivals & I don’t want to disable all notifications. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
People only get a notification when you beat their time (If you were slower before), so they won’t keep getting notifications if you keep going faster.
Yeah, I think part of the Rivals notifications that go out are when I’m setting an initial time with a specific route & class. Not sure how the system determines who the notifications go to within my friends list, maybe just those whose times I’ve beaten with my initial recorded clean time, but I’ve found some feel obligated to respond, which then results in more notifications back, so it’s like an unintentional cycle I’m creating just trying to set some times. Fortunately there’s a delete option, I was just curious if there was a way to turn them off totally, such as finding the off switch for the Forza link, which was definitely a beautiful thing.
I honestly wouldn’t worry about it. I absolutely love getting rivals notifications to see how fast you guys are going. Chasing the carrot has quickly become one of my favorite parts of this game.
you’re not bad in this regard. I’ve unfriended people for doing like 50 races in one day with boneshaker or S2 Viper AE. if I come up with a top 50 tune, I might blast thru a dozen races at most, apologies in advance
1:38.782 in the 458 with my own tune so far, I can share it if anyone wants to try it out, I’ll end up moving on to one of my favourite cars in the game eventually anyway the R390.
Great time Gilles. I tried several of the options yesterday & managed my best time in the Schuppen so far. Will definitely give your tune a try at some point if you share it.
One of mine as well, & also one of my favorite designs (SC below for anyone interested). I also have what I consider a pretty decent S1 tune on that car if anyone would like to give it a try (sorry, don’t have that SC handy at the moment), but would like to see what could be done with it in more skilled hands than mine.
