johniwanna was showing off the new Top Gear Car Pack cars in today’s Twitch stream, and he’s challenging players to put the cars up on the leaderboards. He’s going to post the official list up at Johniwanna but I think I wrote down the right details:

BMW M235 - A class - Nice - Harbor Sprint
Ferrari 458 S - S2 - Castelletto - D’Oro Cliff Street Race
Ford Cortina - D - Saint Martin - Short Circuit
Jaguar XJ220 - S1 - Montellino - Coast Rush Street Race
Lamborghini LM002 - B - Storm Island - Temple Blast Extreme Cross Country
Lexus RCF - A - Nice - East Harbor Street Race

Tune up those cars, take down Rivals times, and check his Facebook page for more info.

Just took 9th place on coast rush with the jag, lets see how long that lasts lol

The goal here is to pack these leaderboards with times from the cars of the Top Gear Pack. Tune them how you like.

I will be hitting these Rivals events in the Top Gear cars through Monday, maybe longer.

Hey John, what about the monthly refresh of FM5 Rivals? The January Rivals for FM5 were refreshed on the first friday of the month of January, and the first friday of February has now come but still no new Rivals events for FM5 are there! Could you please investigate and let us know when we can expect new Rivals events for FM5 or confirm if they will no longer be refreshed? Thanks

Can’t beat my Mini time at Saint Martin - Short Circuit using the Ford Cortina but got a 00.54.388 and I have put the tune up for share.
Again can’t beat my GTO time at Storm Island - Temple Blast using the Lamborghini LM002 but got a 02.23.880 and I have put the tune up for share

Sorry I think I ran a time in the BMW that is untouchable by the Lexus at East Harbor.

So I will be trying to beat some BMWs in a Lexus at Harbor Sprint if I can beat whatever my existing time is.

So much for having a break from gaming :wink:

Id love to set a time in the jag at coast rush…but i am not entirely sure I can go faster than my Mclaren or an f50 there >.>…Ill definitely give it a shot later though, the car is quick.

Just completed some runs in the BMW. Best run so far is a 2:14.234 which put me at #43 on the LB. I’ve shared the tune if anyone wants to take it for a spin.
I think I’ll take the Jag out next. I received a Love Letter from Johniwanna that I need to respond to. :slight_smile:

I’m currently at #34 (a rare high spot for me) on D’Oro in Castelletto with 1:54.216 in a RWD Ferrari 458 S. I’ve shared the tune as “S2 RWD”

Ferrari 458 S - 1:54.882 - 40th. I might try Max’s tune. Mine is a bit too twitchy.
Ford Cortina - 56.018 - 24th.
Jaguar XJ220 - 2:11.032 - 50th. I think I’ve still got a tenth or two left in me.
Lamborghini LM002 - 2:26.947 - 23rd.
Lexus RCF - 2:02.890 - 52nd.

BMW M235 - A class - Nice - Harbor Sprint #17th 2.10.000 (yes my run was that precise :wink: (tune shared as V1 but tune is close to any final version I am likely to come up with)

Ferrari 458 S - S2 - Castelletto - D’Oro Cliff Street Race #4th 1.49.613 (tune not shared as I am not happy with it - work in progress)

And here I was happy chasing your BMW in Nice and looking forward to beating it today and it’s gone.

So far I’ve only done the Nice - East Harbor Street Race and I’m around the low 30s with a low 2.01.165 (or something very close to that). There’s still room for more in the car, it is AWD, and it is shared if you’r interested.

I’m running the rest of these later, maybe tonight after work.

My Lexus is RWD :wink:

I started with RWD and did a couple of runs. I wasn’t happy with the tune and it could use some more work. I opted for the easy out and switched to AWD. The tune is ok, but there may be some changes coming to it as I’m not 100% happy with it either. Try it out and let me know what you think.

I got on today and worked on a paint, I didn’t do any racing. :frowning:

its alittle lose ppi but I haven’t tried to tune this car yet so Im not sure how to fix it yet

Hmm, alright. One person said they liked it and beat Eduardo with it so - 2:1 - I agree with you.

I think it’s a almost there but not quite. The rear accel setting has to come down a bit. I am also thinking the front Toe needs another step to the right or the front camber needs to be changed a bit.

Where exactly would you say it is lose? This will depend on the changes to make.

I’m having the most problem on turn in on some faster corners and mid corner response on the slow ones. When I get on throttle at the apex it tends to leave rubber and spin the tires regardless of the speed I’m going.

I think if u fix the rear accel/decel that will fix it.
