Haven’t done much painting in past forza titles but am loving it for some reason in forza 6.
One anomaly I’ve run accross is when you make a design on one side of the car and then switch accross to paint the other side. When I select insert all layers from left/right side everything transfers accross correctly accept the vinyl groups that I’ve made. They are always transferred in reverse and I have to muck around applying them again so that they are the correct orientation for that side of the car.
Is there a way to insert the layers from the other side of the car without having to reverse my vinyl groups?

You have to manually reverse your vinyl group logos.
Correct. The “flipped” logos can be used as a reference for positioning when inserted. Once you’ve flipped your design to the other side, go back to the original, copy the logos and paste them back on to the new side. Then use the “flipped” logos as a positioning reference and delete them when you’re done.
Great, so is there a menu option I’ve missed that allows me to flip the vinyl in one go without re sizing and re positioning it?
You insert left to right (or vice versa).
Adjust the side you flipped to, to make sure everything lines up where it should - sometimes the sides aren’t exactly 100% the same.
Then once you’re happy your ‘flipped’ side is where it should be but your logo’s are reversed - just go back to the side with the logo’s the right way around and copy one of them, go back to the flipped side and paste it there. This means you now have a copy the right way around on the other side of the car, and just need to position it over the reversed logo. Delete the reversed logo, once you are happy with the positioning.
Rinse and repeat.
Sounds long winded but once you have the hang of copy/ paste etc you should be able to fly through this bit of the design. It can be a little tedious but at least all the hard work of painting the logo’s is done by this point and you’re on to the laying out/ home straight.
