I’m not sure if this is the place to post bugs.
It hasn’t rained at all in any game mode for me the last few weeks. (I can’t pinpoint what patch messed it up.) It’s a bit cloudy but.
no puddles
no rain
no different track “slipping.”
It stays like this the whole time if it’s a “rain” race.
It changes from sunny to cloudy conditions listed above on a race where it would rain in the middle of it. (the change is obvious.)
I’m running it on an original Xbox One.
Night racing does work.
Please fix/tell me how to fix!!
You can set the weather in Freeplay, go to race setup, you can choose starting, middle and finish race weather conditions.
Have a look.
I appreciate the response. I think I was pretty clear in what was going on. It’s not a “I don’t know how to change the weather” issue.
When it’s supposed to be raining it’s not.
For example.
That’s “raining” on Sebring.
That’s just how it is. Dry in the beginning of the race, the rain comes midway, and it dries up right before the finish.
I don’t think there is an option like Forza 6 where you can trigger the rain for the entire race.
It. DOESN’T rain AT ALL. EVER.
Never puddles.
Never rain.
Never water whatsoever.
In ANY mode.
I know what it used to do when it rained. It doesn’t do it any longer.
The picture in my previous post is what it does when it’s set to “Rain” on Sebring. When it’s set to Rain it’s always raining.
Not so in my game recently.
Edit: I’m going to reinstall the whole game. So maybe it’ll be resolved in 5 hours.

Set up a race.
Set it to rain.
Actually went into advanced and set conditions to thunderstorm for beginning/middle/end of race and have no rain then?
Yup.
It simply does not rain whatsoever in any mode.
When it’s supposed to rain, not get cloudy or dusk but rain, it gets a little cloudy and the “clouds” of rain that blow at you in heavy puddling appears.
Otherwise no water effects.
It’s currently at 9% installation. I’ll let you know when I can launch it again.

Are you on pc? Have you turned down rain graphic settings to low?
Nope! Good question though! Original Xbox One. There isn’t a 'rain graphic" setting they added since Xbox One X came out now is there?
Not that I know of.
Just checked on the regular xbox and everything seems to be working.
Maybe it’s anther “feature” of this game.

It’s at 30% so I loaded up Sebring in the rain.
It’s now raining. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
(Yes I knew about the advanced setup before)
