I’ve been through a few threads on here and haven’t found the liveries I’m looking for.
I figure this could turn into a request thread pointing people in the right direction for the best versions of certain cars and on which models.
I figure with 24 cars, it’s going to make it difficult if you don’t know which of the 24 to use to find the livery.
If someone could point me to the best versions of each of the following that’d be great.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. - (any of the goodwrench)
Dale Jr. - #8 Bud
Dale Jr. - #88 National Guard with the 3 Doors Down logo - (probably a stretch but thought I’d ask)
Tony Stewart - Home Depot (any)
And ALL of the cars from Days of Thunder.
If you have painted yourself, or have found one on the sharefront. Can you please point me in the right direction with the gamertag/description and which model car?
THANK YOU!!!
Also - I’ve looked through all the threads that advertise NASCAR liveries. I’ve attempted to pick a few of them up, but without knowing which actual car in the game they are on, it makes it extremely difficult to actually find them.
Also, check out SweedishThunder; he’s got a #42 Mello Yellow paint scheme shared on the #42 Target Chevy.
I know it’s not the #51 from Days of Thunder but it doesn’t matter because it is on point! The scheme was used by Kyle Larson in the 2015 Darlington race where a lot of teams run throwback schemes.
LOL… one more thing… ALL of my designs at this point are shared on the #88 Nationwide Chevy & the #2 Brad K Ford. SweedishThunder is sharing all his cars that don’t have in game representation on the #88 & #2 as well…plus the #20 for Toyota designs; n game representation then he will make the scheme on that particular car… for example; his #42 Mellow Yellow shared on the #42 Target.
I was planning on making a couple of late 1980s Dale Sr from the old school Chevy Monte Carlo (Wrangler & GM Goodwrench), but neither looks good on the 2016 Chevy Super Sport. There’s just not enough room on the new cars for all those sponsor decals, so I won’t be making those. Just so you know.
Oh my “replicas” aren’t all that accurate if you check the finer details. You just know where to look. I know, and the true fans of a particular driver/design know if they take the time to really look. Luckily, most people aren’t too picky.
I did it (them; late 1980s Wrangler and Goodwrench) on the 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and it just doesn’t look right on these current Gen-6 Chevys.
My Dale Sr designs on the car they should remain on in my opinion [in this case, my opinion only matters to me and to the people who want me to put a certain paint scheme on a particular car and who won’t get that from me; I’m certainly not saying that I speak for everyone]:
