How the hell do people make such awesome designs? Is there a program for that like importing the picture or something? or they spend hours in-game creating designs?
Basically i need a number plate as attached, Can some designer make it or something close to it and upload to storefront pls?
There hasn’t been a Storefront since FM4 but the creation of ANY additional graphics on a car is just done using the built-in shapes/sizes from the Livery Editor. I am highly unsure if there is a Storefront in FH2 mostly because the game isn’t officially out yet.
That plate wouldn’t be hard to make at all, only tedious bit might be the Arabic. I recommend giving it a go yourself, you’ll be surprised how easy it is once you learn the basics.
Give it a shot! If you’re artistically inclined, it’ll probably be easy. Even if you’re not, making things like number plates is fairly straightforward depending on the level of detail you attempt to replicate.
You could always download a number plate graphic from whatever type of community file sharing we’re going to have in Horizon 2. If a plate you liked already had a number, you can cover it up with a little rectangle that’s the same color as the background of the number plate. Boom, number erased. You can then layer your preferred numerical nomenclature on top and drive away a happy camper.
I also love having number plates on my cars. I just don’t have that much time to make them myself, but if you can wait a little, there should be more than enough plates made by the community.
Are there any tips for making super detailed decals? I really question that they all are made in the editor because I don’t understand how they can have the fonts match the decal they are imitating. (like Ralleye Monte Carlo, Ralliart or Martini). Is it literally just a bunch of skewing, spinning, sizing, etc? They would have to use tons of layers unless they are doing shapes by layering multiple decals. I can’t imagine the time that would go into this. (this Ghostbusters themed car comes to mind http://assets2.ignimgs.com/2014/07/10/ghostbustersjpg-6e5431_960w.jpg I wouldn’t know where to begin to attempt something like that.
I guess the other question is are you better off making vinyl groups and then applying those as a whole to your car or just start creating the decals one by one on the car?
