Replay storage limit?

Anyone hit this yet? Still waiting for game to launch in my region in two more days.

Please tell me it’s a lot more than F5!

I’ve got about 10-12 replays saved and I wasn’t able to save another until I deleted one.

Oh no! That’s even less!!!

FM5 was 10 replays and there is still a limit on how big saves can be courtesy of the cloud storage.

I havnt been able to save more than a single replay. Bug? Very frustrating. Not sure if there is anything I can do to correct this?

You should try to check the remaining storage in your console.

Are we the only FM6 players who think this limit of ten saved replays is absolutely ridiculous in 2015? Not even one per track?! This is insane.

PS I have a 1TB Xbox One!

Yep, you ONLY GET 10 saves for replays. I have one extra long Enduro career on mine (1 terabyte unit as well) and 9 others of smaller lap numbers.

I presume you can upload them to your own store age device such as an external HDD, same goes for images, which sadly have a smaller store age then previous games.

This forces you to not share your pics/replayescwith others via Forza direct, but having you create a Flickr or similar service, which of course has some sort of cross connection with MS.

I would have hoped that we have at least a save per track, allowing us to show off our skills to others. But 10 is just mean, especially given today’s ultra modern store age abilities…

There’s a huge number of gamers who don’t have access to higher broadband allocations per month like n other parts of the world.

Just Downloading the game initially, incl the initial muck-up that occurred with pre-orders, which meant having to delete and re-download the entire game and the pre-launch packs, which then gobbled up over 100 gig in just a few days (2 complete downloads of 45-50 gig each time)…

I had to take back my initial 500 gig Xbox One send nab a 1 terabyte Forza unit to make sure I had enough room.

Even just playing Forza 5-6 and just 3 other disc based games has used 49% of the 1 terabyte unit.

Surely we could have more replays and pic storage on new machines…

It has nothing to do with the size of the XB1s HDD - it is directly related to the cloud storage and the fact that ALL saves (and their associated nits like tunes, replays etc) are backed up to it and MS have a size limit per game per gamertag. Simple really.

All well and good, but you’d think 10 saves is a bit small in today’s world, when telecos are offering sizeable free cloud storage abilities.

Even 20 of just the replays would be great, much better than the measly 10, don’t you think.

MS is no slouch as far as a corporTion is concerned, especially their gaming section…

The replays also seem to be capped at 25-26 minutes. Before one of the recent updates, all cars would be frozen at the start line in longer replays. Now, the field freezes at the time limit. The replay doesn’t even end. The cars just stop and the cameras continue to pan.

Yep, noticed that myself on one of my Enduro races, kept my first Enduro win to watch with my son, can’t do that anymore sadly.

Be great if they could open that up to hold the entire replay from staging (>3 countdown) to crossing the line, do you think it has something to do with the new live feed capture abilities that were introduced a few months ago?

As that would grab a lot of cloud memory for each gamer…as it then feeds it to all players etc…

I’ve even forgotten it’s name or how to activate it… Any clues?

Photos should be much much more. I can understand replays because of all the data involved. I do simply wish the size was doubled or tripled. I have a lot of replays of people wrecking me to go through.

There should be an option for you to save all your replays in the hard drive of the xbox one. I am using only 13% of the hard drive in the xbox one, so I have more space to save all my favorite replays. They just need to add the feature where you can save all your replays in the hard drive of the xbox one and not in the cloud storage. I am going to have over 1000 replays that I would like to save.
