For whatever reason, when a car is in your draft, you will experience a lack handling and braking abilities. Braking distances are longer, turn in isn’t as sharp and traction is terrible.
The higher the downforce of the cars you are racing, the more this affects you to the point where in high downforce prototype cars, it can auto spin you. This was a bigger issue at launch and was mostly fixed but it still remains and artificially affects racing and makes it hard to leave behind a car you have just overtaken because you now experience less grip than the car behind.
This is incredibly infuriating. Please get rid of this unrealistic feature that artificially keeps racing close.
Here is video with proof of aerowash and the affect it has.

Chris Esaki said - they reduced this effect because players complained, even though it’s less realistic now. -
I think T10 should reconsider the measurement data they got, because no other sim, not even the hard core ones, have this effect this strongly. I’m pretty sure T10 just has bad/low quality data for this effect and they should probably retake the measurements.

It simply cannot be true, in real racing, that cars behind give cars in front what is effectively dirty air. Maybe small in something like NASCAR but that is one discipline that isn’t even in the game!

This needs to be fixed for good, you still lose 1 second per lap and even more when you have someone following you closely
The more aero the car you drive has, the more penalising it is
I would remove it completely, not just reduce it
