It’s introduced a full game crash on series x when I try to overwrite a tune in rivals

…and free roam, I have to make a fresh save each time and then go and delete the old tune

Yup. Just crashed again trying to rename a livery.

Same here on series s , game crashes when trying to rename a vynil or livery , the only way save it as new

Game crashed when naming livery. And when the game don’t crash the livery name stays the same, it can’t be changed.

I’m no rocket scientist but I’ll hazard a guess this has something to do with that “fix” they introduced to patch the profanity exploit people were using.

I was having the same issues but I shut down and disconnected the power on Xbox Series X and it no longer crashes. I won’t let me rename any or my liveries. It goes through the applying process but the name doesn’t change.

I cant rename Liveries on PC since last update.
I can go into the text field and type in a new name, after clicking apply, it loads for a bit but the name doesnt change.

I just encountered this as well. Made a new Skyline design but everytime i try to rename it it Crashes the game. And i certainly dont want to upload it as “Forza Livery”

Hi all - the team is aware of this issue and currently looking into a fix. We’ll let you know when we have more.

It happens on the console too. Same problem.

Not yet as of today but we’re planning on releasing a fix soon. We’ll post the update information when ready.

Today we’ve released an update for Steam, Windows, and Xbox.

Series X size was 1.1 GB

Bug fixes and changes (Available from Feb 17)

General

  • Performance and stability fixes.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from renaming UGC, which would sometimes result in a crash.

Please install the update and attempt to do the name changes that previously caused issues, and report your results here.
