In-game, the model name is “#12 Rebellion Racing Lola R-One”. However, the R-One’s chassis was developed by Oreca, not Lola. Lola Cars went bankrupt and became defunct in 2012. They did design Rebellion Racing’s previous chassis, but not the R-One. Hard to believe this one slipped past the people in charge of licensing and branding.
Johniwanna explained in today’s livestream that the car is named precisely the way it is because of licensing.
