Since I was anxious to get home and improve my time at Bathurst for the Bounty Hunter event, I am short on race coverage. So, please feel free to post highlights and coverage of the racing that was dear to you this weekend. I will award gifts to those who post worthwhile RVM nuggets.

A small bit of racing coverage from me…it features Dan Wells, a local lad from my neck of the woods. Started off racing in the UK then moved to Hong Kong and has been very successful racing there.
This weekend he raced at Brands Hatch (UK) in Formula 3 for his first time and scored a podium on the first race. Not too shabby I reckon. During the weekend he also got the Mobil One Master of the Weekend Award. So well done him.
I have met him when he was doing a meet and greet a few years ago, very enjoyable chat and good insight into his racing and my son got to sit in his race car!!
I wish him the best for his future.
I have to give those NASCAR fans a plug here. Kasey Kahne, with his victory at Atlanta last night, earned a position in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. For all the fans of Danica, from what I saw, she didn’t wreck anybody and she came away with a respectable 6th place finish. You don’t get lucky and finish 6th at Atlanta. I haven’t seen the current tally but I think my driver the Biff is on the bubble to make the Chase.
Sidenote, Tony Stewart was back in the car and fast in the beginning but got tangled up a bit and had a rough night to finish with.
Now, I am off to decide which classic muscle car will suit me to chase down and hopefully beat “The Unicorn Saint!”
Happy labor Day to all!!! Didn’t catch to much Auto racing this weekend due to Aug 30th being my 40th birthday and the 31st being my 10 year anniversary with my lovely wife!!! I did (as I always do) catch MotoGP. Nothing like starting my day with screaming bikes in the background! Is that what heaven will be like? I hope so!! Congrats to Eduardo for taking the challenge!!!. Definitely for a good cause and I have done so myself!! Keep up the great work guys and hope to see ya on the track!!

Well Kevin harvick lead the most laps in both the nationwide and sprint cup series but didn’t win the sprint cup event. The race came down to who started in the bottom row and it was Kasey kahne who came away with the win and a playoff birth so congrats to him for a great race. F4 Honda nsxrgt and or intergra. Forza 5 credits
In NASCAR Camping World Truck series news Turner Scott Motorsports announced the shutting down of team 30 and layoff of 18 employees. 4 time truck series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. missed the race at Canadian Tire Motorsport park this past weekend due to these circumstances. He was 4 th in points at the time, and has dropped to sixth. Mr. Turner and Mr. Scott are currently in legal battle over finances. No other TSM team has been affected so far. Hornaday has sponsor obligations for a couple of races later this year and is unsure whether he will rent a truck or buy one for those races, or find another full time ride.

At the beginning i don’t like bathurst and was not very good at this track, but after doing the achievement with the x-box holden car i was going better and better.

Forza 4 : 2002 BMW M3-GTR “Street Version”
Hi John, I’ve discovered Forza Motorsports this year and I have to admit it’s the best racing game I’ve ever played. Too bad I don’t have an Xbox One yet I hope I can buy one during Christmas sales because I can’t wait to take part to comunity events like this. The only good thing about not having the One yet is that I can still enjoy Forza 4 and Horizon.
Man wish i had an xbox one so i could get forza 5 for free this weekend even though it wouldve been the first game i bought lol. Is there any chance of some challenges coming out for Forza 4 nowadays? I know that there are livery challenges but i dont really have time to put 20+ hours into making a livery and even if i did i wouldnt stand a chance against other people liverys its friggin amazing what people can make.
I think its a great idea the give gold members a chance to play Forza 5 for free if they haven’t already. I can’t wait for Horizon 2, I’m getting it on both 360 and One since its a different game on each system. Trying to finish up Forza 4. Need that Unicorn car achievement.
