This was the busiest weekend ever for this Johniwanna. I spent all weekend shooting photos of vintage racecars and stance cars I hope you enjoy. There was also some great racing all around the world. Read RVM to get the jist of things that happened.
Links to individual stories I did on the Pacific Northwest Historics and Stance Wars 2014 can be found in RVM too.
Please enjoy it! Man this was a lot of work, sure I had fun, a lot of fun, but it’s a lot of work being me. What a life, thank you all for your love of Forza that makes it all possible.
“When you are watching NASCAR or any race, are you on the edge of your seat hoping to catch a huge wreck when it happens, or is the competition always at the forefront of your mind?”
I hope to see flawless execution. a great save (should that be necessary)… I certainly am not watching in hope of seeing any wrecks.

still hunting:… how about an FM4 MINE’s R34 unicorn?
The Coke Zero 400 would’ve better without the rain, then again it was hosted in Florida during summer, which is rain season; heck, we could have used that rain here in SW Florida where i’m at, for whenever there’s rain in the region it goes around us, I mean it literally goes around us. But I guess Amirola and the #43 deserve the win, it’s been a long time since the 43 has been to victory lane.
F1,Hamilton was great shame Rosberg had gearbox trouble it would have been a good battle to the finish.when you watch any racing it should be about the driving, but a crash can make it more exciting(as long as nobody gets hurt).

I like the pictures what you made , I’m really addicted to vintage cars so this 4th of July cruising is close to my heart. I also watched the Formula 1 and if we don’t count the crash, we can say that it was not a bad run from the guys.
Thank you Jhon for this great RVM.

It’s a sad day when you see such a beautiful old car up in flames… From the original picture I thought that it could have been an old Ferrari, but your linked article confirmed that it was a Jaguar. The photo with the flames beneath the car is a great shot! Watching the V8 super cars footage made me wonder if the super cars were the main inspiration towards the design of the R3 and R2 classes within Forza. How were the R classes designed conceptually?

it was great to hear that hamilton won the f1 and at silverstone as well.
shame that rosburg had a malfunction because he is also a great driver and i like to watch both allthough this time i missed it due to work but someone kept me informed.
i am looking forward to the next f1 race.
Thanks for the article John, great stuff. In regards to your question I like watching any race for the enjoyment of the racing component, not the wrecks. It is thrilling to watch a great finish in a race. That said, the wreck in the Nascar vid was crazy. Hugh pile-up and it happened so fast. I’m glad that no one was hurt.

Hey John, thanks for the article. I feel bad for the guy in the Jag that blew its engine. That would make for a bad weekend for sure. At least he was okay and was able to get out of the car.
Its always amazing how fast wrecks happen in racing, the Nascar wreck caused a major pile, but glad no one was hurt. I would have to say, in regards to your question, I prefer watching racing for the racing and not for the crashes.

Hey John, I was at the pocono race. First Indy car race ever. Speed was incredible!!! Been there for Sprint Cup races and the Dallara’s are so much faster, it snaps your neck just trying to watch them come down the long pond strait. Got some pics if you want.
Great coverage. My personal favorite events are the vintage races. Being close to Road America I am always in attendance for the spring and fall vintage races as well as The Hawk (comming up in 2 weeks) . Love seeing stories and pics from the cars of yesteryear. The old roar of the Can-Ams are a real treat. The Jag owner had a bad end to his day but it sure made for a great photo op.
Great RVM this week. New to this site. Love the coverage. And what a crash at Daytona. Don’t personally watch Nascar but that was a crazy crash. Thanks for your great work!

The British Grand Prix was a great race to watch. I’m a fan of Nico Rosberg and was disappointed he had a transmission failure in the race, I think he could’ve had the win if his transmission stayed together. Not so much a fan of Hamilton after the Monaco race, sure its disappointing to come second but no excuse for not congratulating your teammate. Wish I was able to watch the Aussie V8’s, love those cars but ever since SPEED was replaced with FOX1 I just haven’t been able to keep up with the series all too well. Maybe T10 could have some live stream’s in the near future.
Great RVM BRO.Glad you had fun racing man that be so cool to do lucky you.Nascar race need to go to the end rain what a downer man.I got a X-BOX 1 now so happy. gamertag sleepyp1980 Forza 5 money
Good race for hamilton this week, a great second place for Valtteri Bottas in williams, so when a first place. Terrible crash on nascar, every time i’m scary about injuries.
I read that FIA is going to ban FRIS mid-season because it counts as active aero somehow. F1 is getting a bit stale nowadays because FIA seem intent on banning new innovations. Hopefully they fix things a bit and next season is more exciting to watch. Also GO FROSTY!!!

Honestly, when I used to be into NASCAR, I was always anticipating that big wreck which was bound to happen. Hey, rubbing is racing, isn’t it. F1 se
