I also encountered a bug where the road doesn’t register that you’ve driven on it for the first time.
(Restarting the game fixed this.)
Another apparent bug is that the right stick sometimes stops working, sometimes in a race or during free roam. Quitting the race or fast travelling fixes it. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the game overall or just the expansion.
