Rage Quiters

Just a fun topic here… i was in a race yesterday on lime rock, leading in my Fiat 500, with the guy in second in the same car but had a different build. After a few laps this guys just quits, he was only a couple of seconds behind me but i was pulling away with each lap. As i finished i got a message saying that i’m a cheat and he is going to get everyone in the lobby to kick me. I didnt get kicked from the Lobby and next up was Watkins Glen, i have a decent car for this track, think it has a top 10 European time so i thought im going to wind this guy up. i picked my car and we were off. He was in a civic and he was trying his best to keep up, he dropped into 3rd and i could barely see second place by now, so just before getting onto the 3rd lap he quit again. This time i didn’t get a message but when i got back to lobby he had left. Anyone else got any funny stories of people blaming you for cheating just because you are better than they are? i think its quite funny sometimes.

Yeah I got one today racing my 360CS at Silverstone GP against a mono… Crashed on my first lap dropped back 10 seconds passed him on lap 3 through maggots as if he was stood still instant hate mail accusing me of cheating… next race at spa he pulled out an A class F50, so took my Elise… Bin edit through eu rouge, caught back up and passed him turn 1 lap 2…

You guys were probably lucky that they didn’t try to take you out on purpose. Many of these players can’t lose in a proper way.^^

It was ok for me, i was racing C class which is ghost only for now, i’ve tried B class before and all the happens is bumper cars and play catch up all race :frowning:

I’ve essentially given up on multiplayer unless collisions are off. I didn’t use it much in Forza 5 because I was learning. I’m now a pretty good driver who can finish in the top 3 (I often win in the rain) with no collisions but once collisions are on, too many people are driving me off the track and I race clean. For example I caught and was passing a guy clean and he drove me off the track on a straight. Why can’t the game sense that and penalize him?

However, there are lots of times I’ve been in small groups of 6 or less players I have seen lots of quitters on the last lap when they realize they can’t get in the top three.
