I know this has been a subject in the past…but just want to make another post of how infuriating it is not being able to change the station anywhere and hopefully it will actually get fixed VERY soon. I’ve literally stopped playing this game cause I can’t stand constantly listening to Horizon XS all the damn time. And I don’t just want to play the game without the music. I just think its absolutely ridiculous that this is a bug to begin with and for how long they’re unable to patch it. If it were stuck on Hospital Records, I suppose I wouldn’t be complaining at all lol, but damn…please fix this already so I can play this game!

Have you tried to toggle your keybindings for the radio?

This is in the Known Issues list:
Controller - Players may not be able to change their radio station
So at least you know you’re not alone. Fingers crossed for the OP it is addressed in the next update.

Never heard of this glitch. I know that if you’re in Streamer mode, it defaults to the station with all the content ID Free music, which in Horizon 4 was Hospital Records, and it’s that or off. But for some reason, the game flagged Pulse as my “favorite station”, even though given the choice, I’d lean more towards XS. So I figured maybe it’s because I’m in Streamer mode a lot it defaulted to Pulse, and I just didn’t notice because I had the music volume way down.
Anywho, my point is, check if you’re in Streamer mode.

I’m on controller, no problem changing radio station. I got tired of music really quickly so I now have the volume at 0 where I still get skill songs I just don’t have to hear them.

Players,
I have confirmed same bug in streaming, on PC, and on Xbox One X.
RESOLUTION:
In all cases I was able to get all the stations back by TURNING OFF STREAMER MODE!
SETTINGS > AUDIO > (BOTTOM OF THE LIST) STREAMER MODE = OFF
Confirmation - as SOON as I turned it back on it locked me on whichever station I had on prior to changing the setting OR MUTE.
