Racing gone wrong

More and more I find myself playing solo or with 1 or two friends to avoid the drama,I’ve played Forza for years and the name calling the trashing of ones family over an accident in the game where sometimes a player may cause 1 accident and it turns out into an all out cuss war and its over a game where you’re car is replaced the next race, some people take this game to far even young children with foul comments that would make their parents choke with disbelief can we all chill out before it’s unplayable.

From all my years, of playing Since Forza 2, I have not once heard any trash talk whats so ever, and I pretty much just play Online…

This really surprises me to hear because I’ve experienced the exact opposite. Many times I’ve used the mute feature as PPiDrive has suggested as well as blocking/reporting poor behavior. If I had a nickel for every rude foul mouthed idiot I’ve come across in a lobby, I’d be a very wealthy man. I’m just glad we’ve been given the tools to deal with these kinds of people.

I suggest playing with a group of friends or like minded people and if other’s join the lobby then take a moment and use the game’s Mute feature.

For repeated (serial) offenders report them to XBL and use the Xbox Live Mute feature which permanently mutes that player whenever you run into them. You cannot hear them, they cannot hear you, and you never have to worry about it again.

Good suggestion how do u do that PPi

Also, try to find a group of people that just have a good time racing.

I’ve been racing with Delusion1111 and a bunch of people from [ItMe] recently and we just get on, start a private online road trip and race together. Sometimes more people join in and we do fill up the full private lobby but it’s fun and we have a good time.

Even when I am online Solo, which is not often, I still go into Party Chat. This allows me to not have to hear the kids calling everyone racist names, noobs, etc. Plus, I really don’t wanna hear your voice when I am kicking your teeth in on the track anyway.

I feel your pain though.

This is what I do most of the time now is just set up a party chat by myself.

See losing to a better racer is apart of the game it should make the person better Their is a lesson in losing.

As stated before, join a group. All of my best times were in the groups that I have raced with. No issues with pubs and their drama.

That’s rare because I can play for 4hrs and find someone calling somebody else colorful names for a simple accident that the person said sorry for

Yeah but he’s playing in private lobbies…

Public lobbies are a gamble…

Please explain this mute feature!’

How does it work and how do you turn it on. I want to mute people so bad but have no clue how to do it.

once the road trip starts, push the pause button, then click player list, and mute the person who is annoying the room, only takes a few seconds, so you can still finish the road trip…just make sure you remember the gamer tag so you don’t mute the wrong person

On the player list you can highlight the player (press A) and there is a MUTE option. This only mutes them for Forza Horizon 2.

You can also use he view profile or view gamercard option and that allows you to Mute them as well. This option mutes them across all of XBL.

on a spinoff of racing gone wrong, can we find some decent people? Cos I went and won races in B class by seven seconds (in some cases) over people using a customer car, the evo 10

There’s an upshot to all the bone-heads polluting FH2: FM5 online lobbies have improved immeasurably since I last played. I started playing it again earlier this week, and have been having a great time.

Viva la Forza! Viva automobili!

This is simple as hell. Each time I play Online, I plug the Xbox One headset in the controller, press mute, and put the headset somewhere. No online conversations and [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D], and no one can hear me. Just racing.

This puts unnecessary drain on your controller battery though, it’s much more logical to start a party chat by yourself.

Or plug your controller into the console with a USB.
