Well, another thing that won’t get fixed, but anyway, I run Eliminator quite often and besides the “Oh I wasn’t cheating” players who can go 160mph in Tsuru, it’s hard enough to get a decent level vehicle at the start and everytime I do there is always that one player close by who has better than I do, but finally I got a level 6 Audi as first car drop, good car to have, I run up on a Tsuru just sitting there so yeah, challenge granted, never slowed down once and way off in the distance is the finish line, winning by a mile (or two) halfway there, the wall just speeds past me, and even the finish line is behind the wall. I mean I was 160mph+ most of the time and yes…got there, leveled up to level 7, real good car, and BAM!! put out by the wall? Why in the world would you put the finish line behind where the wall would pass, or even make the wall move so far across the map the first move that even with a good, fast vehicle you can’t catch up to it? Come on, I know it’s just a game but some of us get tired of wasting our time but we keep coming back hoping one day that someone over there is paying attention and puts some time into eliminating some of these easy fixes and less time on “Uhh…hey man, can we make the graphics any cooler or make the vehicles faster? Because I already made all the cars in the game spin out in first gear no matter what and then bog down in 2nd gear and I also made it so where when you turn left you go right…it’s like…like…driving on ice no matter if you are in the desert or not…hahahahahaha!!!” Come on Forza…I mean all that talent sitting there in your offices or at home and you can’t realize that Penhall the Cholla can’t run over a stick without looking like it got T-boned or it comes to a halt lol…who did that one? Fire them!!!
Sounds like you need to play Eliminator a bit more and learn good places to start. I play it a lot with approx 390 wins and it’s not nearly as bad as you’re making out.
Yes I’ve come across a few cheaters but most of the time it’s fine.
p.s. try enabling traction control and stability control. This makes some of the 2WD cars much easier to handle.
I have all of that, I am not new to the Eliminator, Hall of Fame twice already. I wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t happening. It’s probably a little worse than I’m making it out to be. Got eliminated by the wall twice tonight as a matter of fact and was straight full speed the whole time. I know where to start at, it’s always a gamble. Maybe you should pay closer attention to what’s going on around you, just saying. I have almost 48TB of recordings from Forza 5 alone where cars are flying, or players running the map with their car icon in challenge mode in Eliminator but come by you and your challenged by them. Just the other day had someone challenge me and no other car appeared nor did my icon turn to show it was challenged and there was no finish line marker…had a level 10 Hoonigan win the challenge as soon as it started and he didn’t move but I lost? Had a level 3 Machan go faster than I was in a level 6 Audi and I never spun out, hit anything, got sideways, lost control, I was just pedal to the metal but couldn’t gain on him in a 1.5 mile race to the finish? Come on man, stop making excuses and do your homework. A few cheaters? Forza Horizon 5 has the highest online rating for being hacked or having a community running illegal mods and cheats by it’s player base. I know some is chalked up to lag but when lag can make a car win a race over a mile to the finish, that’s a lotta lag man or when the car that challenged me is zipping through the air zigzagging or is visible the whole time then they hit a house or tree and all of sudden without even reversing they disappeared and then reappeared ahead of you but the placement said I was in second then they hit a tree and I went to first the moment I passed them, Lag just decided to work at the exact perfect time something like that happens too.
P.S.-I only turn traction control and stability control off when drifting, sometimes launch control to depending on my build.
