Not bad, I see potential.
One thing to be aware of is what sponsors you choose to use on your car.
For example: BF Goodrich, Michelin, Bridgestone and Yokohama are all tyre suppliers, and you typically only see 1 of those on a car and not all 4. Have a look at more real-life race cars and you’ll see some trends that will help influence what logos you choose to put on your car.
Thanks PJ, thats true, i guess remaking all the logos takes so much time and ive chosen the easiest ones lol, ill make more of a variation!
Yeah, logo recreation is a painful job that takes forever. I’ve spent hundreds of hours on mine over the years.
im still figuring out how to do some shapes, seems impossible with some of the shapes provided!
How do people do designs per say TEXACO SIERRA with the sponsors and the like? Do people design it from scratch or do they scan it and apply it to the game; I. E JAMES HARDIE 1000
They do it from scratch… there is a boatload of sponsor decals you can add that people have done before & shared in game - so for most of the common ones you can either use someone else created if you only want the livery for personal use. Otherwise you can trace them to use on liveries you want to share. One bad thing, I’ve found most of the ones in-game are not quite correct, they use the wrong font, placement/layout errors, or just not-quite-right for one reason or the other (and why I rarely use them). Anyway, you cannot scan anything and upload it directly your car. Everything is created in the paint booth with the available shapes and fades - nothing can be imported.
