Race position always placed in the back đź«

Not sure if others have ran into this problem but for some reason in every single race I enter in multiplayer I am always positioned in the back of the grid.

It doesn’t matter how well I drive or not

I always have to jump 5-15 positions & hardly make it past 3rd place. Sometimes I build my way up & people will make a mess crash everyone, boom, I am back again at the back :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

It’s getting kinda annoying having to start in 19th place all the time to just finish in 7th when I’m sure I could start at least in 5th & have a shot at 1st…

Come on need help :sleepy:

I’ve been trying to start dead last every race and I’m always just after the qaulifiers, halfway through the grid. You have the best problem there is!

In all seriousness, you need to qaulify.

:sweat_smile:, so do some qualifying!, i also want to give you some tips so you can get pole position ( start from 1st) : 1- you only have 3 laps for qualifying so be aware!, 2- i recommend using soft tires so you can have more grip and do faster laps, 3- never get out of the track and avoid contact or your lap will be marked as an “invalid lap” and it will be ruined! If that happens, you can use “skip lap” option at the pause menu to start again.

Starting at the back does have its benefits. A lot less likely to be involved in the carnage of the first couple of corners.

Also worth leaving qualifying as late as possible in the practice session, as the track appears to rubber in more and use as little fuel as possible (remembering to top it up before the race as necessary!).
