Late reply, but yes.
We have only one nascar n only one official hillclimb car in fh5. We just need some more. A good amount of it.
We have a great hillclimb course in terms of volcan peak n an oval circuit in terms of the stadium oval circuit. So itād be perfect to have more nascars n more official hillclimb cars in horizon.
Return the idr from fh4 as well.
I imagine hillclimb cars are harder to come by because of the Pikes Peak exclusivity license held by Polyphony Digital of Gran Turismo fame. Thereās lesser known hillclimbs, of course, but the more obscure, the least likely a car will appear. We probably only have the Sierra Hillclimb Car because Sierra probably desperately needed the promotion of their brand. Lord knows I never heard of them before Horizon 5, so it worked.
True but as they previously managed to get some of them like the idr or two suzukis in fm4 if I remember correctly,n the relationship between forza n ford is great so supervan 4.2 n supertruck easily can slide into horizon, so i still have some hope.
N tbh anything can do a hillclimb like from a group b,wrc, rallycross to lmps,f1,fd,touringā¦just anything. So If the licencing is really that though then they should add more of these in that case.
From the first Horizon and up until now it has always been mainly production cars so hoping for a 40/60 split with race/rally/formel/drift cars vs production cars is just a way to disappoint yourself. What FH6 will bring is yet to see but I do not think they will mix the car types much more than they have in the previous titles. I love that we get some rally/ racecars etc. but most of all I personally want more customization for the production cars, body kits etc. and more customization for livery making such as rims, windows, frames around the windows and interior customization.
So what Iām trying to say is that itās so many gamers with different hopes or wants for changes to come that satisfying all is impossible and future change in FH5 or FH6 will probably continue in the same direction.
Maybe FH6 will satisfy us all. GL ![]()
I agree with u about exterior n interior customizations but the thing is I donāt know how much theyāll be able to customize specially the interiors due to licencing n allā¦I specifically want forza to have a visual support for the weight reduction upgrade as currently no visual change actually takes place when applied weight reduction.
N talking about bodykits, third party bodykits r OK but forzaās own bodykits r not just okā¦they just donāt know how to make a race widebody. Also all third party race bodykits we have r just production bodykits,no race interior is included so I proposed a solution for this with my race bodykits n race interiors topic but they didnāt care it seemed.
N about front splitters n rear wings, I canāt take these awful current forza wing n splitter again in fh6ā¦
Iāll be totally OK if propr customizations come to horizon, weād be able to properly make a race car out of a production car. But till then the only option is to get pre-built race cars in the game.
So: this whole thread could have been boiled down to āI want more race cars in free-roamā?
Okay.
Definitely, if u r blind n canāt see the votes in the race car topics.
I think we should get more race car but i like more of the product cars.
So fh5 ends hereā¦the conclusion is we didnāt get any proper off-road cars after series 19, any proper drift cars after series 22, any proper drag cars after series 33ā¦ā¦
Well, the picture is clear I guessā¦
So I wish you devs will focus more on racing n race cars in fh6ā¦
Please donāt just add production cars blindly most of the time n eventually make fh6 a car gta just like this one!!!
Hope prototypes n f1 will join fh6 since the beginningā¦Amen.
If you count the:
1939 Auto Union Type D
1970 Ferrari 512 S
1967 Ferrari #24 Ferrari Spa 330 P4
1966 Ford #2 GT40 MkII
1964 Ford GT40 Mk I
1939 Maserati 8CTF
1939 Mercedes-Benz W154
1971 Porsche #23 917/20
1970 Porsche #3 917 LH
1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6
Then yes, we do already have F1 cars and prototypes in FH5.
Iām talking about the cars after 1970 to current⦠the two threads we racers r voting to be added.
Almost definitely not gonna happen for a few reasons:
- Most of the race cars in FH5 are based on production cars (with practically the ONLY exceptions being the SCV12, the Mission R, the Pro Stock Camaro, and the Forsberg Camry,) something that canāt be said of F1s and prototypes.
- FH5ās map wouldnāt accommodate them very well; Itās mostly offroad and dirt roads. In that setting, PGGās first priority probably wouldnāt be asphalt-oriented cars that would very likely have a PI of X-999. Then again, the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR has a PI of X-999, but is lowered to S2-998 with restrictorsā¦
- ā¦which brings us to the next point. F1s and prototypes would probably be added with restrictors, dropping them down to 998. The problem I have with this is, S2 online lobbies are already chaotic enough right now, so imagine if these cars were added⦠0_Āŗ
Just my 2 cents.
Donāt bother - I already attempted to explain - they are just on a rant - and still going off on it as little as two days ago when weāve all known now for about a month that the game is pretty much done, and they arenāt adding any more new cars to this game.
They just want motorsport in Horizon and ignore that they are two different games for a reason.
Apparently restating your opinion over and over and over and never taking in new information is reasonable and not at all low effort trollingā¦
There is literally no point to this thread any more and it should be locked.
Anything can come to horizon, it totally depends on the devs whether they want to add it or not.
But just as I mentioned earlier, if theyāll be blindly adding only production carsā¦then nothing can be done!!! Just like fh5 had only one nascar, only one time attack car n only one hill climb carā¦if they wanted they couldāve easily added more cars like theseā¦but they didnāt. Thatās my point.
N production car people will give a lot of baseless theories that race cars canāt come to horizon, theyāre only for fm n all, blah blah blahā¦I really never cared about thoseā¦they always try to stop anyone asking for race cars in horizonā¦itās their job. Iām assuming u r not one of them.
Now my advice to u is if u like race cars to come in horizon then vote in the race car topics(not only asphalt specific cars but also dirt, cross county, drag cars n so on). Otherwise no need to tell me the things u mentioned above. PI wonāt be a problem if they add P n R class to horizon or any solution like thatā¦thatās a very simple problemā¦n secondly fh5 map can easily accommodate themā¦I myself had created around 100 asphalt track blueprints only in the Mexico map. So that wonāt be a problem as wellā¦
We racers know that f1 n prototype cars or other dirt n offroad race cars can easily join horizon n thatās why weāre voting it.
Thank u.
But youāre not. ā¦a racer.
If you were - youād be in a SIM game, or at least in Motorsport.
Horizon isnāt a Racing game, itās a festival of cars. (and music).
Anyway, thanks for another wall of text.
(once again proving my point).
The best solution to a vocal, seething troll user like SalmonSum here is super easy: block them (or hide/mute them and their posts, I think thatās how it works here), never engage with them again, and let them vanish into the annals of obscurity, where people wonāt even remember them a year from now. SalmonSum has done nothing but prove that theyāre an extremely problematic user who only uses responses like yours to fuel their fire and become more intolerable. I really wish the moderators would do something about SalmonSum, but until they do, the best solution is the one I provided above.
tl,dr; block them and tell others to never engage with them
Iāve done just that.
Thoughout the many years I have been on these forums I have discovered there are many with whom I can have intelligent, civil discussions. Then there are those who, as you mentioned, are best blocked. Fortunately, most people who fit into this second group leave when other members refuse to interact with them.
Overall, I have found most people on these forums to be helpful, friendly and curtious.
