Horizon Track Day (Series 40) overview

We are off to four weeks of racing with Horizon Track Day. Four modern Porsches line up as this month’s weekly reward cars. Earn Festival Playlist points and complete different challenges to unlock them all and go for a race on the different events going around the Horizon Festival. The largest EventLab prop pack we’ve ever made is also arriving, featuring different elements of a game series that’s out of this world. Save the human race (no pun intended) from extinction with the 71 props from the Halo universe coming to Forza Horizon 5 this month. Get ready to run around the Oval Track once more as this timed feature returns to the Stadium for the duration of this update. Joining the roster of returning features, we are bringing back the Helmet Piñata Collectible! Get your car to the starting line and make that engine roar on Horizon Track Day!

Im really unsure of this but i have seen some people on reddit saying that according to leaks, there will be a Porsche in this Update.
Tbh just seems like someone said that for attention.
I honestly expect to see some cars from motorsport like the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Cup or something along those lines.
(Return of the VW ID.R would also be nice)

I’d take that Reddit rumor with a grain of salt, but the 992 GT3 RS sounds like a pretty realistic expectation for this series.

tbh I hope no more seasons and they just repeat.

I miss the days of torben tuesday, where we had to guess of a cryptic image or puzzle what new content is coming to the game.

I definitely agree that the 992 GT3 RS is a realistic expectation. Personally, I want to see the '95 Mustang Cobra R. It was a factory track-focused Mustang and it was just added to Motorsport, so it’s probably only a matter of time until it makes its way to FH5.

Let’s hope for the 992 GT3 RS but also want to see the Maserati MC20.
I honestly the Return of Volkswagen ID.R would also be nice.

I do want to see the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit or Morizo Edition in Horizon track day

That would be cool. Also a pretty reasonable guess because it seems like PGG has some sort of relationship with Toyota because a lot of recent Toyota products have been added.

This update seems to be a perfect opportunity to finally introduce the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992). The Crew Motorfest is getting it at the same time… which makes me wonder if Polyphony Digital didn’t get a one-year exclusivity period for that car (it was added to GT7 in November 2023)…

New cars in Series 40:

  • 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
  • 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye
  • 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R
  • 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S

They could call it Horizon Porsche Day actually

I hope those cars are coming to Forza Motorsport simultaneously (except for Rallye)
