That would be cool
So basically like the race track in FH4âs Lego expansion? I loved that spot.
I was one of those that boycotted everything Lego in FH4, so I dont really know. But if theyve done something like it before, try it again without the Lego aspect and Ill be happy for sure.
Best thing to do is just keep voting. I donât know if thereâs a whole lot that can be done with how many that get added, but if a time attack Mitsubishi Evo and Colin McRaeâs Ford Focus RS could make it into the game, then Iâm still fairly optimistic about what other race/rally cars weâll get down the road.
The time attack Evo only had 84 votes by the time it was added, and I donât think Colin McRaeâs Focus RS even had a voting thread prior to the release of Rally Adventure. (I checked in Previously Considered Suggestions but couldnât find anything)
Yeah I always wanted a Daytona-sized oval and then a huge long oval like the test course and Special Stage Route-X in the Gran Tursimo games.
Sorry to hear that. For my money the Lego expansion was great, and it had some fantastic routes.
we need to keep them remembering that ârace carsâ r also cars.
true but 57 production cars in comparison with just 7 race cars, this is just insane. just 8 times more production cars. that is my point. it feels like they have to add production cars in every series.
I donât really understand why youâre so stuck on this. Horizon games have never been track-based. Theyâre about collecting and modifying a broad array of real-world cars and turning them loose on a big open map, on the sorts of roads where a track car just wouldnât fit. Sure, there are the occasional purely-track cars in the roster, and maybe thereâs a case to be made that there should be more than there are, but having them be a significant chunk of the car roster just doesnât mesh with the vibe of the series.
Not always a popular viewpoint, but for me, definitely felt the same way. There was nothing worse than trying to enjoy the immersion of the game, only to enter a race with a Lego car next to youâŚ
i know that. im not asking them make it a track focused game either. im just asking for the race cars.cause horizon can have anything.
theyâre race cars. they can fit anywhere. just matter of lil tweaking here n there.
i never mentioned track cars. i mentioned race cars all the time.n by saying race cars i meant everything purpose built.
I loved that huge oval in Gran Turismo. I forget which GT title Im remembering, probably 20+ years ago, but I still remember the track vividly.
I havent been voting in the car request threads ⌠so a lot of the stuff added didnt come with my approval. But Im starting. I just used up all my daily like allotment ⌠we have a daily like allotment?! ⌠voting on stuff. Ill be back though.

Lets not also forget that a large portion of the cars in this game that are not race cars proper are actually homologation specials that allowed all those race cars they love to even exist any where at all and become famous.
That âhomologation specialsâ is just pure nonsense.
Bringing cars people donât want to the franchise isnât magically going to attract people that did want these cars in the franchise.
Then why was Team Wars (which is to my knowledge the only real competitive racing thing thatâs still going on the FH side) founded during FH4? That game got even less racecars and it still flourshed. What the game needs isnât cars, what the game needs is features to support racing if it wants to attract racers (which by your own admission, it isnât).
Who r these people?? Those all production car people rightâŚif the devs constantly will prefer production car people by giving around 90% production cars each year then simply they will be the only kind of people left in the community n now they donât want race cars in the game..
itâs the devsâ fault that today this community is full of production car people.. they couldnât maintain a balance between race cars n production cars n thats why today the production car people are deciding what will come to the game n what not. They started thinking that itâs their game. The devs need to remember them that Horizon is not their property. Itâs a game for everyone. itâs their responsibility to bring a balance n end this production car supremacy.
O really!!
So where is the most important thing needed for racing which is weight reduction. Itâs there but where its actual visual support?? Without visual support that feature is just a nonsense. A production car still looks n feels like a production car even after using race weight reduction.
N where is a proper rollcage?? The current rollcage feels like itâs developed by a 5 year old.
What support theyâve provided for us to make a road car properly look n feel like a race car???
The worst splitter n the worst rear wing.. tires n brakes that donât have brandingd on it n even look worse than the default ones.
In the name of modifications they make a car look worse.
My race bodykits n race interiors post has more than 120 votes but I bet they didnât even look at that..Theyâre no racing people so expecting race oriented features from them is a waste of time..so bringing full blown race cars is the only way to bring racing n racers to the game. N thatâs what Iâm doing.
If the audience theyâve attracted is (much) more interested in a production 911 over a racing one, thatâs not their problem. Plus, youâre trying to make this into an âUs vs. Themâ problem, when it isnât, thereâs maybe one person i know that only ever wants race cars, most people either want production cars or both.
lol what?
No?
Car features arenât going to attract racing people, what would attract them is something like split times (which were cut from FH5 for reasons), spectator mode, lapped races with a âpit stopâ (or something similar, giving more depth to those races instead of just marathoning them), an overhaul to the blueprint editor (hasnât had one since it was introduced in FH3 in 2016), etc.
