R18 should have lots more power

just watching fia wec (im a big fan) the Audi runs some 1000+bhp and the Porsche over 1400+bhp both with kers system and yet on forza 6 the #2 r18 dont run any more over 818 bhp without putting it into x class
can something be done so the audi be has quick has if not faster than the 787b which it should be

That is because it is the 2014 season R18 which is included in this game. That ran in the 2mj sub-class, unlike the 2015 which runs in the 4mj sub-class. The PU produced around 700 BHP, with 520 of those coming from the Diesel and the remaining being supplied by the MGU on the front axle.

Yes very well said,in 2014 the toyota ts040 was the most powerful car at 1000hp.this year both audi and porsche have far exceeded that.

The only thing that bothers me about the r18 and has always bothered me about the diesel prototypes in all Forzas is the spitting exhaust flames on down shifts.diesel doesn’t combust in an exhaust stream like petrol.a rich engine will blow black smoke, enough raw diesel in the exhaust will blow white/grey smoke.

It annoys me too that the 787b is so much faster than the R18 in Forza 5 + 6.
Very unlikely T10 will change anything about this.

and on paper the 908 should be much faster than the mazda but they ruin it
its a brill car ive got it to handle well enough to keep up with the mazda
but they wont change it nor the mazda its not very far at the moment

Well I guess it depends on how you define “speed”, because the 787b ran almost equal lap times at Le Mans as the 908, and given it has less downforce, it’ll be a lot faster on the straigts, which means that if you don’t corner perfectly in the 908, the 787b will “feel faster”.

and the r18 was faster last year than the mazda and that gtr should also run 1250 bhp not 800 bhp
then the 908 should out handle the mazda which it dont
p class is to much 787b but the 905 is starting to be on top on the leaderboards
