I have been trying to Figure out how forza sorts the cars when you choose “sort by class”
I have been going back and forth trying to find a pattern and have to find one.
My A Class list went - 1990 benz 190-e, 2008 wrx sti, 2014 M235i. I made some changes to my Mercedes-Benz 190E and its now at the other end of my a class list.
The changes i made were- stock tires to street, 245/30r19 to 265/25r19 in the front- cams from race to stock-block from stock to street.
After those changes were made the 190e went from the 3rd car in a class auto sort to 3rd to last.
Any ideas would be amazing! !
What I do is sort by class, then after that sort by manufacturer, makes it a lot easier to find cars that way.
This, I sort by class then by manufacturer because it is the quickest and easiest way to find cars.
When sorting by class, the cars are sorted based on PI. Within a given class - let’s use A for example - the cars are sorted starting at A800 on the far left and A701 on the far right. The further right you go, the lower the PI gets. When you have multiple cars at the same PI number, this typically being the at the left of any given class near the higher PI values, I am not exactly sure how they are sorted.
It is not by manufacturer. It may be sorted based on certain SHALB stats, or perhaps a lap time on the benchmark track, or even success. The cars that you have the most success in or the fastest times in go to the left but I’m not certain.
