While painting the Ferrari 312 T2 I’m having trouble with finding the X y location of
the rear wing. Usually I will use an over sized vinyl in a contrasting color to locate off areas on models. This one is just difficult. My question is…What are the numerical locations needed to cover the rear wing and side plates? I appreciate any assistance on this matter…Thank you.
I wish I could tell you mate.
At least someone answered…Perhaps I posed my question incorrectly…On the lower left of the screen in the paint shop there are X & Y axis numbers displayed…these are the locations on the model of whatever vinyl you are applying…more than one car in the game has areas that were painted by the artists at Turn10 that are unavailable in the users paint shop…ie: the sun visor on the windshield. Usually this surface is gone once the stock finish is altered. But there are several models in the game that show the wing as a paintable surface, however when you attempt to place vinyl on it the item cannot be manuvered into position. Some models allow you to cover these areas in a location off the standard place if you search out toward the edges or in the corners of the grid. My question is…Where is the lacation on the grid to be able to cover the surface of the rear wing?
Not all cars are paintable, the designs that are on the cars aren’t created in an editor like we have as such so you will see cars with logos on wings etc but will be unable to paint them yourself.
If you want to know where is paintable use the giant pixel approach on each side… one MASSIVE square lol

I haven’t done one in a while, but I seem to remember that if a car has a wing that can be painted (not all can) … the direction of movement when moving vinyls is reversed from the rest of the car. So, if you’re pushing up on the controller thumbstick, your vinyl actually moves down. Same with left and right movements. Keep that in mind as you’re trying to locate and position vinyls on the wings.
