Question about X Y axis location

I had posted on the racing paint forum my question…no answer there. So I’ll try here. While painting the Ferrari 312 I wanted to apply vinyls to the rear wing. Paint shop allows this with a tab. I can see the vinyl in the rear body of the car but not on the wing…I’m trying to find the X Y axis numbers for the location of the top surface of the rear wing. I have seen other paints with this surface covered…so I know its possible. Once again, any help would be appreciated. Thank you…Charles

Not sure because i haven’t tried it… but what wing are you using… mostly (to my knowledge) carbon wings can’t be painted… so try to put on the forza wing and see if that works…

Also… when you’re trying this are you on the wing or on the rear tab??? sounds to me like your on the rear (or maybe even the top of the car) instead of the wing…

This particular car…the Ferrari 312 T2 is the vintage formula racer…has a wing attached. The wing is sheet metal colored with rivets. Normally I wouldnt attempt to cover it but the stock livery has Goodyear logos applied. I would like to replace them with Pirelli logos. It wouldnt even matter but that the model has a tab for the wing in paint shop…But thank you for interest.

i can take a look later today and see if i can find a way to do this…

Well you can change the colour by changing the car paint colour… But i haven t found a way to put vinyls on them…

Hey, thanks for checking it out. I’ve pretty much moved on to other things but will take it back up at a later time. Checked out your work and I must say you’re a very talanted individual. To get the results you do from such a rudimentary paint program is astounding. Imagine if we had tools similar to Paint Shop Pro or other stronger programs? I mainly work on recreating logos and such. So its nice to see real artwork being done. I just dont have the patience with this paint shop in the game. Thanks again…Charles

I like how it works now… in my opinion it helps with the quality of the designs for people who commit to it… you do get more designs that are probably not what the creator wanted to do… but i say keep on trying!

Thank you Charles, much appreciated!
