Hey everyone, ive been playing forza since the beginningand i have to say this new game looks amazing, im liking the new physics implemented and the new tracks and cars added. Problem is there are several problems i would like to address. First off i am a tuner and had a lot of luck in previous games selling them in my storefront, this new sharing thing doesnt pay very well. Ive dealt with this issue due to rewards giving me money once in a while, but i miss the storefronts. The biggest issue currently is i have managed to cap out how many tunes i can have…im assuming its the cloud save only being so big. Is there a way to expand the tune memory? I used to paint a lot of liveries aswell and cant be bothered anymore to get paid so minimal for the time it takes to produce paint. I was also very hungry to be top of the overall circuit board…which has been killed off for god knows why.
So i cant leaderboard like i want to, not worth painting for $$$, cant save anymore tunes, clubs are gone, so the question i ask is why am i still playing? I dont think T10 was thinking of long term players when they created this game…maybe some things can be fixed, but will they? Thanks for the feedback.
On the one hand, I think people largely went for tuning setups and liveries that were cheap or free, so liveries priced at 50,000 CR would see far fewer downloads than if it was 1,000 CR or 0 CR. I’ve seen players complain that there’s little point in spending hours on a livery just for it to get a few downloads because it can’t compete with liveries priced for nothing. Taking price out of the equation levels the field. On the other hand, the current system of awarding CR based on usage is broken because few people see the hundreds of downloads required to earn CR. We really need to change how players get paid for usage of their work.
I just checked my forza 4 the other day, i had 10.2 million sitting in my account, that would help a lot in this game. I sell all mine for $25k, they sell well. People try your tunes, like them then come back for more, they tell their friends then they come, its good to have a fan base.
The amount of nuking they did to this games is crazy, I cant see this version having the life that Forza 4 had or has. I know a lot of my finds don’t really play anymore or too much. I can only hope T10 brings back the stuff that will give this game longevity.
Thats part of what i liked in this game the fact that there was so much you could do for years…but now what do i do, they just announced two more car packs…so do i just start deleting tunes now to tune new cars…thats absurd! I never capped tunes on any other game, whys this one not about to save them, not like i dont have a pile of space on my hd. The online racing is pretty sloppy too, 75% the lobbies are filled with wreckers and theres nothing you can do except try to get most of the room to vote to remove them…and wheres Nurburgring. Fav track ever…gone from this forza.
its not a big deal in fm5. if you race enough you should be sitting on a stack of credits with nothing to spend them on in less than a year. what do you need more credits you cant spend for? and credits are paid out on how many times the tune or paint is used in a race, not how many times its downloaded. every fm5 player could download the same tune or paint but if nobody takes it on the track there will be no pay out. if a single person download a tune or paint and runs 1000 drag races with it its gonna pay off quite a bit. you dont just get paid once when someone downloads it, you can get paid every day if its good enough people use it everyday.
